So, bad news John Gilbert is back in town as Damon had found out as John still had to report everything to him. The other bad news, a pack of werewolves has followed Jules. Kol, who had been hanging out right outside Mystic Falls had seen the pack, and found someone who seemed to be rather close with Jules. Klaus had already been informed and went ahead and said if they become a problem to kill all of them except Jules. If Jules didn't like vampires so much and attacked his nephew, he was going to use her for his ritual.

"The authorities believe last night's assailant may also be related to the missing campers and park ranger who have yet to be found, as well as 25-year-old Jessica Cohen, reported missing this morning. The sheriff's department says investigations are pending and no further comment will be made. In related news Mayor Lockwood spoke earlier today..." Andie Star said on the TV, then switching over to Carol Lockwood, "Due to the recent tragedies that have plagued our town, we will be holding a memorial in Town Square today to honor all those we have lost. Join us and hope that as a community we can begin to heal," Carol said as the news ended.

"Morning," John spoke up as Elena walked in.

"What are you doing here?"

"Coffee?" he offered.

"We're not doing that. We did that last night. No more avoiding. Why are you here?"

"I'm here to protect you. That's all I can say for the moment,"

"What do you mean that's all you can say?"

"I'll tell you more when I'm convinced I can trust you," John said like the shit father he is. Jenna and Alaric walk in, "What the fuck are you doing here?" Jenna immediately asked, surprising Elena.

"Good morning to you, Jenna. Alaric," John said.

"Why are you here, we were not expecting you," Jenna said with a sickly sweet smile. She secretly wanted to take Alaric's pistol and use John as target rpactise.

"Well, I got in late last night. Elena let me in," John said. Jenna turned to look at Elena, "Why did you let him in, letting in random people, I don't give a shit if he's your uncle, actually I don't give a shit if he's your biological father, yeah I know about it, but none of us like him. Thankfully Jeremy was at his girlfriend's and doesn't have to deal with this dick. You better not be here when I get back, you can't play the father card, you haven't been a father since you gave her up and I am her legal guardian," Jenna ranted looking between the two before pulling Alaric out, leaving a stunned John and Elena.

Damon storms into Stefan's room, "You brought back John Gilbert? That was your big "Save Elena" move?"

Stefan sighed, "I went to go look for Isobel, and I get John instead. He said he can help us, and we're desperate," he said.

"We're not that desperate, Stefan. The guy tried to barbecue me!" Damon argued.

"Damon, Bonnie's new witch friend is working with Elijah, so we have to assume that the moonstone was never destroyed. Elena is putting all of her faith into some deal that she made with Elijah to keep everyone safe. I mean, do you trust Elijah? I don't trust him. He's an Original, he can't be trusted. It's not like we can just go up and kill him, because apparently, he can't die!" Stefan snapped. Well, Damon agreed he did have some points. You can't really trust Elijah but Elena and Stefan probably should, but they won't. Elena is putting all her faith in somebody who can back out of the deal. And no, you can't kill Elijah; the bridge with the last bit of white oak has been burned.
