"Tonight is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse," Elijah said. Damon was upstairs listening to his uncle speak to Elena and Stefan, walking downstairs.

"You said Klaus has a twin," Stefan said, "Are they going to show up?"

"Ingrid?" Elijah questioned, "I wouldn't be surprised if she's already here, if she is, then we need to be careful."

"Why?" Damon asked.

"While Klaus is breaking his bound werewolf side, his twin was something different. She is a vampire, but a different kind. I had found out that her kind can compel with or without the owner using vervain. The other thing is, I came across someone who was like her that burned when they touched silver," Elijah explained.

"So they wouldn't have a silver daylight ring," Elena comments, "And they can compel anyone they want?" (Forget she mentioned Ingrid before, I forgot she had been compelled, so it was Stefan that mentioned her before)

"Yes, but it seems they have a bit more abilities like shapeshifting," Elijah was cut off by a grunt. He jumped seeing his sock had caught fire and missed Damon wiping the glare off his face. Stefan had a thoughtful look, Damon had that thing with the crow. Was that actually him? Stefan looked at Damon's ring and saw it was gold, not silver. "What about I—" Elena tried to say, but couldn't open her mouth. The other men looked at her in concern.

"What about Ingrid Tepes? We could try it on her and her husband," Stefan said and Elena made a gesture saying, 'That's what I'm trying to say'.

"I would assume one of my sister's kind has gotten to Elena and compelled her to keep her hidden," Elijah said.

"I have times I wake up in pain and can't remember what happened. Katherine had the same," Stefan said.

"So have I," Damon added, keeping his heart calm.

"How come we didn't know?" Elena asked him.

"Because I kept it to myself," Damon said shortly. Then he went back on topic, "Why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today. With Bonnie."

"Damon..." Stefan sighed.

"No. Bonnie can't use that much power without dying," Elena said.

"I'll write her a great eulogy," Damon sassed.

"It's not an option, Damon," Elena said.

"All right, how do we break this curse?" Stefan said.

"Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know," Elijah said.

"The moonstone," Stefan stated, but everyone heard the hidden question.

"A witch will channel the power if the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each," Elijah explained.

"And where do I fit into it?" Elena said.

"The final part of the ritual," Elijah told her and pulled out a box. "Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelganger...to the point of your death."

"And that's where you come in," Elena said.

"This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation," Elijah explained.
