"Hey!" Annabeth says. "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood! I'm Annabeth Chase, I'll be showing you around and explaining everything that is going on. If you have any questions or need anything just let me know!" Annabeth smiles widely at the new campers standing in front of her. "Can you all tell me your names? If you already know your godly parent you can say their name as well, if you don't that's okay. We can start with you," she points at the girl standing closes to her.
"I'm Isabella, daughter of Aphrodite." The blonde girl introduces herself.
"I'm Greg, son of Hephaestus." The small red-headed boy next to Isabella says.
"Fred, son of Apollo."
"Emma, I don't know who my mother is."
"That's okay, you will be claimed by the end of the night," Annabeth assures her. "What about you?" She asks the last boy.
"Benjamin, son of Ares," he tells her.
"Great!" Annabeth says. "Follow me and I'll show you to the cabins. The cabins were designed by the Athena cabin and built by the Hephaestus kids. When you are staying at Camp your cabin is where you will stay with your siblings." Annabeth leads the campers down the hill and to the cabins. She points out all the cabins that the kids will be staying in.
"Do we eat in our cabins too?" Fred asks.
"Nope," Annabeth says. "If you follow me I will show you the dining area." After the dining area, Annabeth leads them toward the training area.
"Who's that?" Isabella asks, pointing down the hill to someone fighting in the training area.
Annabeth smiles proudly, "that's Percy Jackson, my boyfriend." She leads the group of kids down the hill. "Percy!" She calls as they get closer.
Percy turns to her and wipes the sweat from the top of his head and smiles, "Annabeth! Who are they?"
"These are the new campers, Isabella, Greg, Fred, Emma, and Benjamin. Guys, this is Percy Jackson."
"Wait!" Benjamin says. "You're Percy Jackson?"
Percy sighs, ready to talk about everything that he has done, "yeah, I got -"
"You're the kid that blow-up the band room?"
"What?" Percy asks, caught off guard.
"Everyone at school talks about it!" Benjamin continues. "You like blow-up the band room and then disappeared for a year! Have you been here the whole time?"
"Kind of?" Percy says. "I was around. People still talk about that?"
"Yes!" Benjamin tells him. "They talk about it all the time. You are famous at school. All the people in your grade claim to be your best friends. They say that they talk to you all the time, but no one really believes them."
"That makes sense," Percy says.
"Wait," Emma says. "If you're that Percy Jackson, are you the same Percy Jackson that was on the news because you were kidnapped a few years ago?"
Percy nods, "I wasn't kidnapped, but that's what the news went with."
"Didn't you blow up a bus on a field trip or something?" Fred asks.
"How do you know about that?"
"They talked about it on the news when you went missing the first time."
"What's going on?" Everyone turns to see the rest of the seven walk into the training area.
"Hey!" Annabeth says. "These kids were just talking to Percy about some of the things he's done."
