I don't own Percy Jackson.
Hi! This is just going to be a one shot of what I think would happen when Percy and Calypso reunite after Leo gets Calypso off her island. This is going to take place before The Trials of Apollo.
Leo and Calypso just landed on top of the hill and everyone at Camp is running to meet them. Leo's friends get there first. They of course hug him, hit him, then hug him again. Then the rest of Camp does the same.
Percy and Annabeth are the last to arrive. They had been in the Big House talking to Chiron. When they do get there they were very happy to see their friend again.
"You're back from the dead!" Jason says excitedly.
"Yeah," Leo agrees. "I guess so."
"He learned that from you, Percy!" Conner jokes. The older Campers laugh while Annabeth punches Conner and then Percy. The newer campers are left confused.
"Anyway," Leo says after a minute. "I have someone I want you all to meet. Come on out Sunshine!" He calls as Calypso steps out from behind Festus.
"Hi," she says shyly, looking around at all the people. Her eyes land on Percy and she frowns.
Percy doesn't say anything he just pulls Annabeth a little closer. Not to show Calypso that they are together just to make sure she knows he is still there.
Annabeth looks up at Percy confused. He just shakes his head.
Leo is busy introducing Calypso to his friends, "and that's Percy and Annabeth," he finishes.
"I know Percy," Calypso says.
"Yeah," Percy says. "Look we need to talk."
"It's ok," Calypso says. "I get it. You needed to go. You had to come home and fight a war. It worked out in the end because Leo found me."
Percy is quite for a minute. Everyone is expecting him to apologise even though she just said it was ok. That's just the kind of person Percy is, but he surprises everyone by saying, "that's not what I wanted to talk to you about. I am super sorry that I left you and that the Gods didn't keep their word and get you off that island. I'm sorry they put you there in the first place, but there is something else I want to talk to you about."
"Oh," she says. "What is it?"
"We'll talk about it later, ok?" He says. "It's not something I want to discuss in front of the whole camp. We can just talk alone later."
"No, if there is something you want to say to her you can say it to me too." Leo says, like they are in some sort of TV show.
The whole camp seems to hold their breath waiting to see how Percy is going to respond.
"Are you sure?" Percy asks.
Leo and Calypso nod. Percy looks at Annabeth.
Annabeth sighs, "look, I don't know what this is about, but I trust you. If they want to talk about this now then, let's talk about it now."
"Ok," Percy says after a second. "I understand you were mad at me for leaving, but you shouldn't have cursed Annabeth."
"What?" Calypso says. "I-I didn't think."
"That she would ever get the curse, yeah, well she did."
"Wait, what are you talking about?" Leo asks.
Percy turns to Annabeth, "When we fell and were fighting the Arai (Is that the right monster?) and you got cursed to believe that I left you, that was her." He points at Calyso.
"You fought Arais?" Calyso asks in shook.
"Yeah," Annabeth says. "When we fell into Tarta," she stops before she finishes the name.
"Look, I'm really sorry. I didn't think you would even actually get the curse. I was just really mad at Percy."
"You should have cursed me!"
"I wanted her to know what it's like to have the person you love leave you!"
"Well, you got your wish then didn't you?" Percy says before he turns and walks back down the hill.
"Percy!" Annabeth turns and follows him.
Everyone else just stands there, this is the first time most of them have heard Percy and Annabeth talk about Tartarus. They don't know what to do.
