New York City No POV
Tina was escorting Axel and Newt to a building that look like part of the future Empire State Building.
Tina: come on.
Newt: sorry, but we do have things to do, actually.
Tina: well, <scoffs> you'll have to rearrange them. What are you doin' in New York anyway?
Newt: I came to buy a birthday present.
Tina: couldn't you have done that in London?
Newt: no, there's only one breeder of Appaloosa Puffskeins in the world, and he lives in New York. So, no.
Tina:<looks at Axel> and you?
Axel:<sarcastic> obviously to see the Yankees.
They arrived to the door as Tina goes to the guard.
Tina: I got a Section 3-A.
The guard opens the door for them.
Tina: by the way, we don't allow the breeding of magical creatures in New York. We closed that guy down a year ago.
Axel: I bet you made so many children unhappy.
They went through the door and it was a secret entrance to the MACUSA headquarters.
MACUSA wasn't like the Ministry of Magic in London as they looked more serious and business like as there was a big clock that displayed different levels of threat as it was on the "Severe Unexplained Activity" which was Orange. And instead of expanding horizontally, they expanded vertically and used elevators to move around. Newt looked around in amazement as Axel didn't bother as he has been in the place before.
There were some mops mopping the floor by themselves as a elf was a wand cleaner by the looks of it. They just walked past and into the elevator.
Red: hey, Goldstein.
Tina: hey, Red.
Red was an elf that operated the elevator. Tina pushed them in as it looked like the max capacity was probably 5 or 6 people.
Tina: Major Investigation Department.
Red: I thought you was-
Tina:<looks at him> Major Investigation Department. I got a Section 3-A.
Axel: seems someone is trying to prove themselves.
The elevator went down.
Major Investigation Department No POV
Seraphina: the international confederation is threatening to send a delegation. They think this is related to Grindelwald's attacks in Europe.
Graves: I was there. This is a beast. No human could do what this thing is capable of, Madam President.
Seraphina: whatever it is, one thing is clear. It must be stopped. It's terrorizing No-Majs. And when No-Majs are afraid, they attack. This could mean exposure. It could mean war.
They heard footsteps approaching and it was Tina with Newt and Axel. Tina looked like a shy school girl talking to the Queen Bee of the school.
Seraphina: I made your position here quite clear, Ms. Goldstein.
Tina: yes, Madam President, But I-
Seraphina: you're no longer an Auror.
Tina: no, Madam President, but-
Seraphina: Goldstein.
Tina: there's been a minor-
Seraphina: this office is currently concerned with very major incidents. Get out.
