(A/N: Idk how detectives work, so I hope their parts make sense or whatever, Idk what I'm doing—)

Detective Lee roughly opened the door to her partner's office, Park snapping his head up, startled at the unexpected and sudden action. Her wide-eyed happy expression told him that she had some good news to share and he raised an eyebrow at her, motioning for her to sit in one of the chairs in front of him.

"Judging by your expression, I'm guessing you have some good news."

She nodded and sat down. "I got a call from a young woman who works at the shopping centre in town and she told me that she might have come into contact with our kidnapped victim, Kim Hongjoong two nights ago."

Park stared in disbelief at his partner. "Wait— two nights ago? She— Kim Hongjoong was spotted? H-How? That doesn't make sense."

"She highly believes that it was him. Her description was that he was wearing a black mask, black hat, grey hoodie, black trackies and his shoes are what is really interesting. He was wearing the same black and red Nike we took from Park Seonghwa's apartment."

Park leaned back in the office chair, elbow resting on the armrest with his pointer finger and thumb holding his chin. "This is confusing."

"Was Kim Hongjoong ever kidnapped? If he was, then how was he out at the shop? His kidnapper wouldn't have just let him go out to go shopping."

"Then who did that girl spot at the shops? His doppelgänger?" Park frowned and Lee shrugged.

"We could look at the cameras at the shops to confirm if it was him or not. Another thing that's bothering me is how would Hongjoong have called Tyler the day after he was kidnapped? His abductor wouldn't have let him keep his phone, it would have been confiscated the minute he was taken. Tyler could have made up the fact that it was a man that kidnapped Hongjoong then bought the same shoes he was wearing the night he was taken and then drew on them and placed them outside Park Seonghwa's apartment to make it seem like this man took Hongjoong. We know Tyler doesn't take much of a liking towards Seonghwa and he could be trying to pin the blame on an innocent man."

Park nodded. "But what if Tyler never lied about the phone call he received from Hongjoong? What if Hongjoong had actually had his phone and called? If it was Park Seonghwa, Tyler would have confirmed that it was his voice that he heard over the phone call, but he hasn't said anything about that."

Lee hummed, staring at the desk in thought and she sighed. "If Tyler confirms that it was Park Seonghwa's voice he heard on the phone, then we could make an arrest. We should have searched his apartment, but those shoes weren't enough evidence to pin him as our kidnapper."

Lee stood up and Park looked up at her. "I think we should search Park Seonghwa's apartment."

"What, right now?" Park furrowed his brows as he stood up, hands placed on the desk and she nodded.

"Let's go see Tyler first to confirm that it was Park Seonghwa he heard on the phone and then we will go to his apartment and then go to the shops to get a look at that camera footage."

She left the room and Park hurried after her but forgot his jacket so he went back to grab it off the back of the chair then ran after her.

Hongjoong and Seonghwa were in bed, facing each other, Hongjoong looking over every little detail on Seonghwa's face, taking in how beautiful he was. He moved his hand up and pushed Seonghwa's hair behind his ear. He cupped his cheek and caressed the skin with his thumb. Seonghwa smiled, his eyes falling shut, enjoying Hongjoong's touches and he was a little startled when Hongjoong moved closer, pressing their lips together in a short, sweet kiss. Just as he pulled back, Seonghwa moved to capture his lips in a kiss that was a little rough and Hongjoong let out a small moan. He pushed Seonghwa onto his back then climbed on top of him, straddling his hips and he laid down on top of him, his forearms resting on the pillow that Seonghwa's head was laying on. The older's hands smoothed down his back, going down to grip his butt.
