You and Hunter walked over to  a large cavity in the ground.

He was holding your hand as he pulled you along, and you were glad neither of you could see each others blush.

In the pit, you saw the human... and what was some sort of cat-man mutant.

Hunter leaned over to your ear, "Humans are weirder than I anticipated."

You laughed.

The human, who's name you discovered to be Luz, battled the monster, which continuously shapeshifted into her various wacky fears.

Parts of the beast went flying everywhere.

To his irritation, a large splodge landed on Hunter's cheek.

He grunted, flicking it off his face onto the floor.

It left a small purple stain on his cheek, which was, adorably, in a sloppy love heart.

"Hey, do you think it'll work despite it only being a small bit?" you asked.

"Mhm, just on a small scale- why?" Hunter replied, staring at the splodge.

"I've always wondered what my worst fear is," you said.

You knelt down next to it, and he crouched next to you.

You put your hand on it, and felt a pulse.

It shifted sharply, and you retracted your hand in surprise.

It kept changing, as if unable to decide what your fear was, from one undecipherable mould to another.

Finally, it decided on it's form.

You gasped, then let out a small confused- "Heh?"

It was what looked like a small 'snow globe', and inside was a miniature version of you, bruised and bloody, kneeling helplessly on the snowy ground.

You were alone, and your magic was spiralling madly around you, more power than you had ever displayed or believed you were capable of.

Hunter frowned. "You're afraid of snow globes of you? Or being in a snow globe...?"

"N-no. I think it took so long deciding the most understandable way to show my fear... I guess, I guess I'm most afraid of being... alone, and my magic being... being the cause of it."

He smashed the globe with his fist, just as cries went out across the hall.

"Groms escaped!" someone yelled.

Hunter grabbed your hand and pulled you up.

"You'll never be alone, as long as I keep my promise. And I will." he said sincerely.

You smiled, and hugged him.

"Ok... but like, epic battle- I kinda wanna see this...!" you laughed.

He blushed. "Oh, right."

You ran after the crowd, still hand in hand.

They had stopped at the edge of the thicket, looking at a small cliff, where Luz and the best battled.

Except now... a Blight? A Blight was aiding her?

You crouched behind a rock studying the battle.

To your surprise, the two engaged in a kind of dance. It was spectacular, one using the other to cast a spell and spinning in circles of glee.

Everyone gave a cheer of victory as the beast was finally vanquished.

"Hmm, not much gore- huh? I was hoping for some proper entertainment." you sighed.
