Chapter 6- Faint

Yoo Ra's POV

"Anja."

(Anja- sitdown)

I sat down at the sofa infront of her.

Her office is cozy as always. It is a completed set. Had a one room as her nap room, a small sala and a small kitchen.

I secretly watched Sophia's mom as she peeked inside her LV bag. Ms. Lena didn’t really look lossy even once. She's always elegant and expensive look but intimidating as always.

She is a modest person with a cold aura in her surroundings.

Like Mother Like Daughter... Oops. I shouldn't think about that.. Sophia will get mad for sure. She doesn't like to compare with her mother even if she got it her intimidating aura.

I wonder how could I act now if she's my mother or my Mom is like her. I am definitely the type of child who is with her whenever there are elegant meetings or dinners in various places. The type that obeys the mother's command like in a movie.

"So, how are you, Amber?"

I smiled before answering her question.

"I'm okay, auntie. How about you?"

"I'm fine if my daughter isn't getting rude by each day."

I want to laugh in a sarcastic way but I know that's rude. They really didn't know what my friend are going through.

"I hope you don't mind if I ask what happened?"

Tinignan niya ako na para bang kakainin niya ako ng buo but I'm not afraid.

I'm used to it.

Since we we're a kid Ms. Lena is always like that. The only difference is her eyes has a glimpse of happiness and love but you stilll get scared of her.. And now? It's nothing but her passion about her work.

I must say people change but not always in a good and positive way.

"I'm sure you know that we have family dinner.."

Family dinner? Ok.

I nodded. Of course I know that. I even help Sophia to chose what she needs to wear at their dinner.

"I didn't say to her that her father was there."

I feel like I'm running out of breath because of what she said.

Did I heard it right? Sophia's father was there?

"And my precious daughter didn't show up."

I stared at her for a second and I couldn't help myself but to react.

"Wah! Maldo andwae.. Seol maaaa!"

(Maldo andwae means nonsense or someone can't believe it)

(Seol-ma means No-way)

I really can't believe what she said. I almost swear.. 

"What's with your reaction?"

I faked a cough. "Neomu mianheyo. I just can't believe it."

(Neomu mianheyo- Sorry (Polite) )

"Waeyo?"

(Waeyo- Why?)

"Because I know she don't want to see her father."

I don't know if that's rude but that's the truth.

"And that's not enough reason for her not to show up because she still need to respect her father."
