Between Us (Klein x Sinon)

Chapter 18

"Now you get to feel what i felt before, " Kyouji snap his finger, and him too vanish into the thin air.

As soon as he disappear the barrier gone too, Klein who has been smashing the barrier fall to the ground the moment it's disappear. "What?!!, Where did he go?!" He stand as fast as he can and look around. But to no avail, there's is no trail of them.

"The lock out button is back!!" One of the player suddenly shout. The sounds of cheering can be heard a bit.

"I need to log out!! I need to check Shino" Klein open the menu button with panic gesture.

"Wait! Klein don't. It's dangerous, what if he is in your house!" Kirito giving him a warning, and try to stop Klein from logging out. But unfortunately, the words didn't make to Klein, he already log out. "Shit!!" He cursed.

"Don't worry Kirito-kun, i already contact the police and Kikouka-san" Asuna said to Kirito "i call them in real world, when that Kyouji guy show his face, the police should be arriving at their house by now.i think all of us should log out now, just to be extra safe." Asuna said try to keep everyone calm. All of them nodded and log out as fast as they can.

"Shino!!" Klein get up right after he disconnected from the game.the first thing he did was looking look to his right side. Sinon is still there, laying beside him.

"Shino..." He move his finger and place it one Sinon's neck. " There's still a pulse.." a sounds of relief. He then look to the AmuSphere, it's still blinking with a green light. It's means the player condition is fine, and it's still connected with game. " Is she still in game... Should i logging back in..?" He's thinking. " No... I need to check the house first", thank god Klein manage to hear Kirito's words before he log out. He stand then he open all the closet in the room. Nobody in there. He then take their night lamp, making it as self defense weapon. We walk to the door slowly and open it gently  try not to make a sounds. He look around before going out of the bedroom and walk around the house with their night lamp looking for Kyouji or any intruder, who might break into their house. But after full round it's just the him and Sinon in their house, nobody else in it. Klein sigh with relief. "I need to check on Shino again" he makes his way to their room.

*Knock knock knock!*  Sounds of the door being knocked by someone. Klein was ready with his weapon.

"Police! Open up!" A guy on the other side said giving an order to Klein.

Klein didn't believe it at first, he walk slowly to the door. As he peeking on the peephole. He saw the police showing his badge. He still hesitate at first.

"It's okay Ryoutarou-kun,  it's save to open the door, i already hear everything from Asuna" a familiar voice taking from a phone that the police holding on the other side of the door.

The police then showing his phone screen on the peephole. Kikuoka Seijirou's face can be seen on the screen. After seeing it, Klein open the door. There's two male police officer. The officers getting inside the apartment and do another check, to make sure there's no intruder.

The police officer pass the phone to Klein before doing his checking,so Klein can talk to Kikuoka about the situation."How's Shino-san" kikuoka ask Klein.

"...." Klein when silent for a few seconds. " She still has pulse, the AmuSphere look just fine. But she's not awake..." He look pissed yet sad, he held Sinon's hand, it's still warm" I should go back into ALO" he said as he about to wear the AmuSphere.
