Y/N breathed in deep and licked her lips in thought.

"Sooo, how do we do this? Both your legs aren't working", she said through an uneccessarily toothy smile and still maintaining that little power pose.

"Wow, do you have to say it like that?",Camilo slouched.

"Yeah, well it's the truth, isn't it? Your right ankle's sprained, your left leg is cramping, how do you suggest I word it? 'Your legs are unavailable for the day'?", Y/N raised a sarcastic eyebrow while Camilo just rolled his eyes.

They both looked around for something that could help their situation.

Y/N blew a long breath through her mouth as she stared at the road that lead to the plaza.

"We're just two blocks and a right turn away from your tia, right?", she asked squinting at the hot environment.

"Yeah", Camilo replied, still looking around for an idea.

"Milo", Y/N called.

"Yeah?", Camilo looked at her and saw that she was now tapping her foot on the ground in deep thought.

"What if I carry you to Señora Julieta?", Y/N asked.

Camilo stared her, dumbfounded.

"Perdon?",he asked, his head tilting involuntarily.

"What if I carry you to Señora Julieta?", Y/N repeated.

"Excuse me?", Camilo asked.

Y/N scoffed and rolled her eyes. She then talked to him slowly as if he was a toddler.

"What if I carry you to Señora Julieta",she said, gesturing at everything as if she was talking to a toddler.

"No!", Camilo yelled, scowling at his best friend.

"Why not?", Y/N frowned.

"Well because- because you're a girl!", Camilo said. Y/N rolled her eyes again.

"I am aware of that Camilo, and I also know that you're a boy-"

"Yeah, see? And a girl shouldn't be carrying a boy around town. It would be humiliating!", Camilo said, his arms moving around due to his offended machismo.

"Look, I know that. Carrying you across the streets of Encanto isn't exactly dignifying for me either, but what choice do we have? Would you rather I let you crawl behind?", Y/N scoffed, also scowling at him.

"No", Camilo answered.

"And do you have any other ideas Señor Machismo?", Y/N crossed her arms, challenging Camilo. Camilo just breathed out angrily through his nose

"No", he said, looking away from Y/N.

"Mhm. Now let's go", Y/N said, wearing Camilo's backpack.

"And what about that?", Camilo asked as pointed at the roll of muslin on the ground.

"The dress shop can wait. We have to get you healed first", Y/N replied.

"Uhuh, and you're just gonna leave that laying on the ground?" Camilo raised an eyebrow.

Y/N pursed her lips in thought.

"You carry that, I carry you", Camilo still wasn't convinced.

"That would just defeat the purpose of you sitting next to me on the ground so I won't get embarrassed", Camilo sighed.

"I told you, it isn't dignifying for me as well", Y/N mumbled.

"Then why should we do it?"

"Ayyy! Camilo!", Y/N clicked her tongue like an impatient mother. Camilo kept drowning but relented to his fate. He was gonna be carried across town like some damsel in distress and be a free conversation starter for bystanders and plaza enjoyers.
