Chapter 6

                                                                                           The Call...

I sighed into my pillow as Amelia snored none stop. "When will she shut up" I groan to myself. Then she started talking in her sleep. "Jake I will marry you" She says while she's asleep. I couldn't help but laugh to myself. I decided to start recording what she says in her sleep. All sorts of things came out of her but like, "Give me back my bacon sandwich" "I love you" and "I hate you". A whole train of emotions, I know.                                                                                                                          

Suddenly, Brian's name flashed up on my phone screen. He is calling me? WAIT,HES CALLING ME!? I quickly answer the phone and wait for him to speak first so I don't sound needy. "Hi Mia are you there?" He asked into the speaker. "Yeah, what's up?" I asked trying to be quite so I don't wake up Amelia. "Sorry for phoning you so late, I just wanted to ask if maybe you wanted to go to the beach with me tomorrow? I know its your birthday so yeah" I chuckled to myself in joy. "I would love to spend my 22nd birthday with you." I could hear him smile through his words. "G-great! I will see you then. Good night Mia." He said. "Night, Bri" I answered with a laugh. "Did you just give me a nickname?" He asked with a laugh. "Maybe..." I said while I grinned. "Well I need a name for you let me think hmm. Mia cant really be shortened so I will call you love." "Love? Where did that come from? "I don't know, I just thought it was cute. Thats what people in love movies call each over." "I wanna fly to the moon!" A voice from across the room shouted. Amelia really?! I could hear him laugh on the other end of the phone. "Is that Amelia?" He asked. "Yes, and she is driving me insane. She snores and sleep talks. I literally wanna suffocate her at this point. Look.." I said, while turning on FaceTime. After a few seconds of waiting for him to  connect I could clearly see that beautiful face. It looked like he was getting ready for something. I showed him Amelia and he laughed. He looked at me for a few seconds before saying, "Your gorgeous, you know that right?" My heart melted right then and there. "Thank you Bri." I said while smiling. Are we flirting? "What are you getting ready for?" I asked, trying to change the subject. "I've got a meeting in an hour and its really important." He answered. "At this time? Its nearly 1 in the morning!" I said. "Yeah, well the people i'm having a meeting with are only free during the early times of the morning so that's the only time I can see them." He answered with a sigh, while putting on a black tie over his suit." I nodded. "Well, you better head off to your meeting. I'll see you tomorrow ok?" I asked. He nodded and replied with, "Ok, see you tomorrow love." After the FaceTime call ended, I jumped up and down with glee on my bed. HE CALLED ME LOVE. I think i'm slowly falling in love with him. But I shouldn't, I will only see him for another week and a half before I go back to America. There would be no point going out with him anyways, since he is always travelling. What have I gotten myself into... I think to myself as I slowly fall asleep.
