I swore off men, and swore off love
Flowers, candies, kisses and hugs
Said no to all of the above
And just then, you
You walk in with your innocent looking smile
But you know you've been thinking for a while
I'll be yours, in only a matter of time
Cause who wouldn't fall for you during your prime
You made sure I didn't realize at first
And that with your charms, I was fully immersed
I didn't notice your game being revealed
All the time I loved, you were playing the field
I swore off you, and swore off love
Flowers, candies, kisses and hugs
Wish I had none of the above
But just then, you
You stood still with a shaded look in your eye
As if you weren't ready for our goodbye
Surely you can admit to do this often
Not much more from you and my anger's softened
I ask how long you wanted to play this game
Tell me how long till I'd become an old flame
You reason, but it's all the wrong words
Something about you not going out with nerds
I swore off you, and swore off love
Flowers, candies, kisses and hugs
Wish I had none of the above
No, but then you
You didn't warn me how addictive it is
This feeling of love, and that feeling of bliss
Even after you've said awful, hurtful things
I keep waiting for what tomorrow will bring
Tired of your stares and need conversation
But now you're scared to get lost in translation
So I guess this is really the end of us
No fuss, there's nothing more for us to discuss
I will swear off men, swear off love
Flowers, candies, kisses and hugs
Say no to all of the above
Lyric.
