he can't leave. no. not like this. he has to know how i feel.
Red doe eyes peer up at him, a small smile accompanying them. The ash-blonde's own piercing, blood red orbs gazed back, a frown being its companion instead.
"Do you have to go?" A rough voice said, frown only growing.
Rose-colored orbs saddened, but the smile stayed there. "There's not a reason for me to stay, Katsuki. Everybody's already moved with their life, even you. It's time for me to do the same."
The ash-blonde simply scowled, furrowing his eyebrows. "That doesn't mean you have to leave," he retorted.
"Katsuki, there's nothing for me here, I've told you this already." That made the taller male scoff and look away. So the other leaned into his vision, offering the same sweet, welcoming smile. "Unless you tell me there's a reason for me to stay." There was a pause, ruby eyes searching the blonde's. "Is there?"
A sharp inhale before the blonde looked back up at him. There was a moment of silence where they simply looked into each other's eyes. "No," he finally said in a quiet voice. His smile faltered before simply nodding his head and grabbing his bags and luggage. Suddenly, the blonde found himself speaking once more. "But you can /find/ a reason, Eijiro, c'mon. You're just going to leave all this behind?"
The redhead turned his way, a blank expression aimed at the hothead's way before he sighed and gave another smile. "I've looked, Kats, and I'm not leaving anything behind, everything's already gone. Everybody, too." He looked at the ground for a second before looking back up, head tilted to the side and cat-like eyes soft. "Even you. You're the CEO of your own company and everything. /You/ at least know what you're doing, I don't know anything, and that's why I have to leave. Okay?"
He turns once more, and this time Katsuki watches him walk away. He can't go. Not so soon, not right now. He hasn't had enough of him. Not enough of his bright smiles, or flamboyant, 'shitty' hair. The blonde still wanted him by his side. He still wanted him staying over his house and those warm hugs and for him to be just five minutes away.
Suddenly, Eijiro was dropping his thing and turning, bolting to where the ash-blonde was standing, tears in his eyes, and jumped on him. His legs wrapped around his waist, arms wrapping around his neck tightly as he shoved his face into it. The crimson-eyed male was shocked, but certainly wasn't complaining and wraps his arms around him just as tight.
When the redhead spoke, his voice trembled, just slightly. "I," he paused, swallowing thickly. "I'm going to miss you. A lot," he whispered against fair skin.
The ash-blonde's lips quivered as he inhaled sharply, forcing himself to keep his composure. He felt as if the other was going to say something else, only to be disappointed. "I'm going to miss you, too, Ei."
They stay like that for a few more moments before the red-haired boy is being put down and they're pulling away from each other. The shorter of the two wipes tears from his face and flashes him one more bright smile.
"Welp, better go if I don't wanna miss my plane!" With that, he turns, running to his luggage and picking them up. Before he walks through those huge double doors, he glances over his shoulder and gives a small wave. From here, the blonde can see fat tears rolling down his tanned cheeks, making his heart break.
He turns and walks to his car, expression downcast as he opens the door. The pink girl in his passenger frowned, tilting her head. "Didn't go well, huh?"
"Didn't confess," he said shortly with a bland tone. The crimson-eyed male is about to get into the driver's seat when his friend swats his leg away. He shoots her a scowl, to which she simply glares.
