About 20 years ago there was a long-going battle between the werewolves and the vampires. The humans were involved but were neutral; they never got in between the werewolves and vampires unless it got to a point where the fighting endangered the lives of humans. The werewolf alpha hated the vampire queen, and vice versa. The reason being is unknown, a long time ago, lost in the past to why the two species were fighting. The battle commenced in the Forest of Lakewood, which is side by side the human town, Beyonderville. But this story doesn't only revolve around this war, the focus of this story is about the next line of leadership from both parties. The vampire prince and the next in line werewolf alpha. The story starts off at the very center line that divides the Forest of Lakewood in half, that separates the territories of the two.
