Chapter 8

Lorraine's POV

It had been 6 months since I fell pregnant and we were prepared, it was a girl, and we are naming her Nadia, after my gran.

"Violet! Are you ready?" I called

Violet was going back home, she had to go shoot another season of AHS and also, summer was over, quite a while ago actually.

"Yeah! I'm coming" I hear her say

Ed loaded her bags into the car and I got Judy in the car and strapped her up. I poked her nose and smiled at her.

"Judy, you're going to be a big sister!" I said

She smiled and we were soon off to the airport. The car was quite silent, Violet and I were still distant ever since that night when she snapped. We were in the car for about 30 minutes and I started feeling uncomfortable.

Ed stopped the car at a gas station when he noticed I was restless.

"Are you ok?" He asked me

"Mmh" I mumbled with my eyes closed, trying to find a comfy position.

We carried on driving and we soon arrived at the airport.

Violet got out of the car and got her stuff, she came to the window where I was.

"I promise I'll be back, soon.. 2 weeks max." she said, looking at me

"I'm going to miss you Violet..." I said and I got out of the car and hugged her goodbye. I didn't go in with her.. I was too moody. Judy and Ed went with her and I stayed behind.

They were gone for a good 20 minutes, and I was getting hungry. They finally returned with donuts, how I love donuts!!

Ed looked at me suspiciously.

"Are you ok?" He asked again

"I'm good" I said, swallowing my first bite.

We finally arrived home and I went straight to the bedroom, I was so tired and irritated.

I decided to take a short nap after eating.

<3 hours later>

I woke up from my nap and I felt awful.

"Ed!" I yelled "ED!!" I yelled louder. My tummy felt like it was on fire, I wasn't sure what was happening.

"EDWARD WARREN!" I shrieked, holding my belly in pain.

He came running in. "What's wrong?" He asks

"We need to get to a hospital, the baby" I said

"Did your water break?" He asked

"Ed ! No time for questions! Let's go! The baby is in danger!" I yell

Ed carried me to the car and we quickly dropped Judy off at her grans house.

I closed my eyes, my baby was in danger, I could just tell. I felt like death, I didn't know what was happening.

After a good 45 minute drive, we arrived at the hospital.

They took me into the operating theatre, and I was there for 3 hours apparently.
