Chapter 16

<Lorraine's POV>

"Ed Warren, I promise to be your lover, companion and friend, your partner in parenthood, your ally in conflict, your greatest fan and your toughest adversary. Your comrade in adventure, Your student and your teacher, your accomplice in mischief. This is my sacred vow to you, my equal in all things. All things." I smiled as I reread my vows that were in our wedding album. I closed the album and put it on the bed next to me and then I sat, thinking about how lucky I was to have him in my life.. I don't know how I'd function without him. I loved him so much..

I heard a familiar voice coming out of the bathroom.

"Morning morning!!" Ed said and jumped onto the bed next to me. He though this was appropriate and he started tickling me.

"Ed stop!" I laughed and I turned him over so I was sitting on top of him and pinning him down.

"Ok ok get off me! You're so heavy!" He laughed, and just to spite him, I laid down on him and let all my weight fall on him.

"Lorraine! You're heavy!" He laughed again

"No I'm not!" I said in a sing song voice.

"I'm only 60kgs!" I continued

He rolled over so I was under him and he pinned me down.

"Ed Warren, you ass!" I said and giggled

"Come on, let's go make breakfast" he said

He got up from the bed and dragged me by my foot all the way to the kitchen.

Carolyn was already in the kitchen eating Greek yoghurt. She raised her brow at us and then took her spoon out of her mouth.

"How old are you guys?" She said smiling and waving her spoon around.

I stood up from the floor and dusted myself off then made my way to the drawer and got a spoon.

"Hey what do you think you're doing!" Carolyn laughed. I ran towards her and she closed the yoghurt and ran to the screening room.

"Argh screw off shit head!" I yelled and then opened the fridge.

"Lorraine! Stop bingeing. You're always eating!" Ed said as he poured himself some milk.

I stared at him and walked closer. His facial expressions changing.

"Don't ever tell a lady that she eats too much!" I said in his face, then gave him a quick puck on his lips and ran to the screening room.

"Raine, go away!" Carolyn said, eyes glued to the tv.

I heard the pitter patter of little feet running towards the screening room, but then it stopped.. as if it disappeared.

"What? What's up?" Carolyn said, turning to me, she probably noticed that I had a panicked look in my eyes.

"N-nothing, don't worry I'm good." I smiled.

But then it started again, this time I heard giggling.

"Carolyn, do you hear that?" I asked

"What? I can only hear the tv" she said

I put my head in my hands and then I went to the kitchen to tell Ed what was happening.

"Ed, there's something in the house.." I said as I walked into the occult museum

"Yeah, they're called humans" he said

"No, it's something different.. it's something inhuman.." I said quietly

"Lorraine honey, don't talk about yourself like that.." he chuckled

"That's not funny, you ass" I said and punched his arm.

"Ok there's no one in this house except Carolyn and the rest of us. You need to calm down ok. Its just your imagination" he said

I smiled at him and then I walked out into the kitchen again..

I know, it's not my imagination.. there's something wrong in this house..
