Tommy's mind was slow as he drifted back to consciousness. The place he was was so comfortable, something soft and warm wrapped around him. It was strange. His bed at the orphanage sucked ass, it was practically a board with a inch thin cot thrown on it. His blankets were also certainly not this soft.

Memories can back slowly. That's right, he was on the S.M.P.C. But, wasn't he supposed to be in a deep sleep pod? Had they already landed?

Tommy shot up straight, the memories of the crash rushing back into his mind. His eyes flicked around the room he was in in a panic, not stopping on a single spot for more than half a second.

It took him a moment to notice the blue creature perched on what looked like a weird chair beside him.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" Tommy shrieked, his first instinct was to throw himself off the side of soft surface opposite to the creature.

The creature's head darted up, only seeming to just notice he had woken up. Wide eyes with black scleral and white pupils met terrified blue ones. A strange chittering sound came from the creature as it stood up, seemingly starting for Tommy before pausing.

"DON'T COME ANY CLOSER BITCH," Tommy warned, desperately looking around the room for any form of escape, "I'll...I'LL BITE YOU! I'LL DO IT!"

The creature backed away slightly, Tommy would guess that it seemed a bit worried if he knew at all how to read the thing.

It raised it's wrist towards it's mouth, more chitters coming from it. Tommy desperately looked around to the room, never truly letting the alien out of his sight.

There was a hollow area under the bed-like thing he had woken up on. He could probably fit into it and it looked deep enough that the blue bitch wouldn't be able to reach him. It would also mean he was cornered and trapped in there. Pros and cons...

Tommy darted under the slab, earning what sounded like a surprised peep from the creature. He clamored as far back as he could, his back pressing against the wall. There was a good 5 or so feet between Tommy and the edge of the space.

"Ha! Take that Bitch Boy!" Tommy's voice quivered slightly, but he hid it behind confidence.

Tommy may or may not have also flipped the alien off.

The creature kneeled down, it's face becoming visible from the opening. It made more chittering noises, this time they were softer.  It glanced behind it's self, at what Tommy guessed was a closed door before turning back to Tommy.

Their eyes were locked on each other, Tommy's fearful and the creature's unknown.

What could only be a few seconds later, Tommy heard two pairs of footsteps outside the room, one light, like they were hardly touching the floor and the other heavy and thumping. The door slid open, Tommy could only see the feet...er...and the hoofs of the two figures.

There was more chittering from the blue creature as it backed away from Tommy's hiding place and turned to the new creatures. One voice replied with soft chirps and another with low rumbles that might be able to be classified as snorts.

Before Tommy could really even process the new additions to the room, one leaned down, blue eyes looking straight at Tommy.

A human?

That was Tommy's first thought but it was quickly squashed as he noticed the feathers that clung to the side of their face along with what looked like wings on their back.

They opened their mouth, as if speaking, soft chirps in place of words.

"Sorry big man, but I can't understand you," Tommy admitted, though he guessed they probably couldn't understand him either.
