Petunia licked Zoe's face and purred. Zoe pet her neck. Zoe held the bit under Petunia's beak. Petunia squawked and opened her jaws. Zoe slid the bit into her mouth and patted her cheek. Petunia closed her mouth and wiggled the bit around as it chimed against her teeth. She nodded and chirped. Zoe went around to the white dragon's side. She hoisted herself onto Petunia's back. She fixed the reins so they fit tightly in her hands then tapped Petunia's sides with her heels. Petunia trotted into the open field with a squawk. Soon, the track came into view. Zoe whistled. Petunia shot forward. She ran to the first barrel and curved around it. They weaved through the rest of the barrels.

Petunia's ears rotated and she turned her head. Zoe looked in the direction of her gaze. The unmistakable yellow of Peep approached them.

"Don't you get bored of practicing the same track over and over?" Michelle called to them.

"Yes." Zoe said as Petunia nodded.

"Why don't you come with me and Sis? She's going to teach me how to ride a flying Peep." Michelle said.

Flying? Petunia needs to learn to fly first. But before Zoe could say anything, Peep had already turned and starting walking with Petunia following.

Zoe leaned close to her dragon's ear, "You can't fly."

Petunia nodded, but her tail wagged. What's this dragon up to?

Peep led them through the ForestTribe to Michelle's house. She halted and Petunia copied her. Peep chirped quietly at Petunia and Petunia chirped back.

"Hold on let me get Sis." Michelle said and slid off Peep's back.

She disappeared around the corner of her house. Peep watched Michelle disappear then looked to Petunia and Zoe, head tilted. Zoe stared into Peep's dark brown eyes and waited for a little while. Then, Michelle emerged with Carrie following on Mars. Peep bounded over to them and sniffed Mars. Mars sniffed her back then squawked. Michelle patted her dragon then slipped onto Peep's yellow back.

"We're going to an eight shaped track in the forest. It will be a little while until we get there; did you ask your parents?" Carrie said, studying Petunia.

Zoe froze, then shook her head, "It'll be okay. If I do get lost, they know I can find my way back like before."

Carrie nodded and turned Mars' head. He squawked and began the hike to the track. Peep nodded her head and followed Mars. Petunia's ears rotated, then she strutted forward. Zoe looked around at the ForestTribe as Petunia wandered on. Many people stood chatting to one another, usually bargaining. Zoe's body suddenly flung forward as Petunia collided with Peep. Peep squawked in alarm.

"Oh, sorry." Michelle said, gazing in a different direction.

Zoe followed her eyes and saw Luke. Zoe sighed. Luke waved in their direction.

A grin exploded across Michelle's face as she exuberantly waved back to Luke.

"Come on love bird." Carrie called back.

"Sorry!" Michelle called and tapped Peep's sides.

Petunia snorted, Zoe couldn't help but laugh. Peep dashed forward, with Petunia en route. Zoe patted Petunia's neck. She jumped, caught off guard, then relaxed and gave a small purr. They continued meandering through the tribe until they reached the tall trees of the Amazon Groves. Peep halted and Zoe pulled the reins back. Petunia jerked to halt, chest only a few inches away from colliding into Peep.

"Sorry for the abrupt stop, but..." Carrie trailed off.

"But what?" Michelle asked quizically.
