Forbidden Love

Chapter 2

“Hey there you are,” Tay says to me as I walk to up them. They are waiting outside of the school for the bell to ring for first period. 

“Yeah I just had to stop at my house to pick up my books,” I say “where’s Jade?”

“Oh she had to go see Mr.Saunders about her math homework,” Ashley says to me.

“Oh,” I say not meeting her eyes. There is an awkward silence for about two minutes but it is broken by Taylor.

“So,” he says clapping his hands together “did you guys bring your stuff for the beach? Because there are gonna be a lot of hot guys there and we are gonna need to sit down so we don’t faint.... or at least I am,” he says eyeing me. I hit his arm playfully.

“You are so stupid,” Paige says.

“Hey, all of you were thinking it,” Tay says raising his eyebrows “no offense but I’d rather be a girl than date one.”

“Yeah, I get it,” Paige says. There is another awkward silence. “What is up with you two you are so quiet,” Paige asks.

“No we’re not we are just listening,” I say.

“Oh really? You are probably daydreaming about David Beckham,” Tay says laughing.

“Ew no. Sorry but he is a father and once someone is a dad I can’t find them sexy,” Ashley says.

“So you are saying that you don’t find Johnny Depp cute?” Tay asks.

“I never said I wouldn’t find them cute.... but sorry no,” she replies making Tay gasp and Paige and me to laugh right as the bell rings.

“Sorry we are not friends anymore,” Tay says walking away with his head up in the air.

“No Tay wait,” Ashley says running after him.

“Nope sorry go find another wing woman,” he says stopping so that Paige and I can catch up.

“Dude you are not even a woman,” Ashley says laughing.

“Ok now you just crossed the line. See I was gonna take you back but now we are done,” he says grabbing my hand and pulling me into the school.

“No wait,” Ashley says gabbing my wrist. I freeze. “You can’t take my best friend from me.”

“Oh yes I can. Watch me,” he says trying to walk away.

“Nope not letting her go,” she says.

“Ok I’m gonna let you three sort this out ‘cause I want to get to my locker. I hope you guys figure this out by lunch because I don’t think Jade will be able to to tolerate this kind of ‘fighting’,” Paige says walking down the hall “good luck,” she says to me as she walks away.

“No Paige don’t leave me,” I yell after her playfully.

“Ok where were we,” tay says getting right back into the ‘fight’.

“I think I said that you can’t take my best friend from me,” Ashley says.

“Oh right,” he says and right at that moment I yank my arms out of their grip and go running down the hallway. They go running after me.

“Hey,” Tay yells.

“Come back here,” Ashley screams. I turn a corner and run into the girls bathroom. Ashley comes bursting through the door and tackles me. “Got you now,” she whispers in my ear. If I was standing up right now I think that I would have fainted. I try to push her off but she won’t budge.
