Forbidden Love

Chapter 6

"Um, guys yeah she is," Paige says pointing to a tree that of course, Ash is in. I Freeze. That is our tree the one we used to play in when we were little. Fuck. I knew she was in that tree. Why did I have to be right? 

"What are you doing up there?" Tay asks. I stay seated by the bush.

"H-how did you find me?" Ash asks wiping her tears.

"How do you think?" Jade asks turing to me. I make eye contact with her from my seat but quickly break it when my eyes start to fill with tears. 

"Get the hell down from there," Tay says "let's go it's getting late." I get up and start to walk to the car.

"Alex! Wait! Please!" Ash yells after me "I want to talk!" I stop but don't turn. "Are you um mad at me?" she says her voice getting louder as she walks closer "Alex? Would you look at me, please? Are you mad at me?"

"Am I mad at you?" I yell at her turning around to face her and my other friends who have taken another path back to the car. "What the hell kind of a question id that, huh? Am I mad at you," I repeat "how can I be mad at you? I put this on myself."

"Ok so we can be friends," Ash asks.

"Sure whatever," I say walking to the car. The fact that she actually wanted still be friends made my heart do a little back flip but I didn't show any sign of excitement.

"Tonight, my house, just you and me," Ash says walking up to me. It's been six weeks since I told Ashley how I felt, she said that 'we should just ignore it and not bring it up if we want to keep our friendship the same'. Of course I agreed.

"But what about the beach?" I ask jumping onto her back as she pushes the doors that lead to the parking lot open.

"After the beach you idiot... I mean I just have to ask you something that's all," she says walking to her car with me still on her back.

"Ask me now! Ask me now!" I screech.

"I-i can't," she says "just let me ask you later, at my house. We can watch a movie and eat all we want," she smiles putting me down "and you can sleepover."

"That's what we always do. But ok," I say skipping to Tay, Jade and Paige.

"To the beach my bitches!" Tay yells.

"Come on get in," Paige says shaking her head but laughing. I sit down on Jade's lap with Ash next to me and Tay and Paige in the front. We pull up to the beach and I strip to my bikini in Jade's lap.

"Calm down there Maxie it's just the beach," she says laughing.

"I know," I say throwing my stuff in the back of the car and running down to the water.

Ashley comes running after me laughing. I don't know why but lately she has been really clingy... and I like it. She hugs me fro behind and starts rocking be back and forth.

"Let's go in," she whispers in my ear.

"Ok," I say grabbing her hand and pulling her into the salty water.

"You guys are crazy," Tay says "you have to tan then get into the water, duh." We just look at him and laugh. After a while Paige, Jade and Tay join us in the water. About and hour later we start to head home.

"Come on let's go to my house and watch 500 days of summer," Tay says as we walk up to Paige's car.

"Nah, Max and I are gonna go to my house and hang out," Ash says.

"Ok, but you are gonna miss out," Tay says. We pile into the car and Paige drops me and Ash off at her house.

"Thanks for the ride Paige," we yell.

"Anytime, baby," She replies.

"Bye bitches," Tay waves.

"Bye," Jade says. We wave until the car is no longer visible. Then Ash takes my hans and pulls me up to her room.

"What movie are we gonna watch?" I ask sitting down on her bed.

"I um... I wanted to ask you a question first," She says sitting next to me.

"Shoot," I says taking a handful of popcorn that we just made.

"Do you still like me?" she asks. I start choking on my popcorn. 

"W-hat?" I ask still choking but trying to seem unfazed.

"Do you still like me?" she asks again. What the fuck is going on? I need to get out of here... this is getting weird. 

"Um I-i need to go," I say getting up.

"No," Ash says "you need to answer my question."

"Why?" I ask.

"Because I want to know," she replies.

"What if I say 'no'?" I ask.

"Then I won't ask you what I was gonna ask you if you answered 'yes'," Ash says.

"What were you gonna ask me if I said yes?" I ask.

"Answer the first question first," she says.

"Maybe," I say.

"Maybe?" she asks.

"Yeah maybe." 

"Ok... I-i think I need a 'yes' or a 'no'."

"Why? Why are you asking me this now?"

"Because I want to know."

"Yes."

"What do you mean 'yes'?"

"I mean yes I still like you."

"Oh ok...um wold you try something with me?"

"What?"

"W-would you um kiss me?"

"Why?"

"I want to see if it's different kissing a girl."

"Oh... I mean I don't think it would be that different but ok sure whatever."

"Ok."

"Ok?"

"Yeah ok I'll do it."

"Ok." I scoot a little closer to her on the bed and lean in.

"Close your eyes," I whisper closing mine and leaning in a little more so our faces are inched apart. Ash meets me half way smashing her lips into mine. She moves her hand to my thigh and my eyes shoot open but I continue to kiss her. She brings her other hand to my hair and licks my bottom lip. What the fuck was she doing? I hesitate but open my mouth allowing her full accesses. After a while I pull away. Ash's eyes are still closed.

"Good?" She asks.

"Good." I reply.

They Kissed! I'm so happy right now! Sorry I haven't updated lately I've been busy with school and shit. Sorry if this is short. I write this while I'm doing homework. Sorry for any grammar and spelling mistakes. And sorry for apologizing so much... lol. Thanks for reading. ILY.
