I put down my phone and run down the stairs to see if he is lying. He isn’t he is sitting on my porch in a crop-top, his favorite pair of white Adidas, and blue booty shorts.
“Thank God! I was out here for hours,” he says walking inside. Jade and Paige following him.
“Um no, you were out there for ten minutes and we just came because you texted us, that your cat ,which you don’t have, was stuck in a tree and you need us to come and save it,” Jade says crossing her arms before walking up the stairs.
“Wow good one,” I laugh.
“Yeah I can’t believe we fell for that,” Paige adds walking into my room and plopping down on the bed next to me and Jade.
“You really believed that?” Tay asked in disbelief and biting his lip to keep from laughing.
“Yup,” Paige says.
“Well I didn’t believe it, because Paige texted me saying that you,” she says looking at Tay “had a big problem and needed help,” Jade adds.
“Um.. you’re a liar because I texted you first,” he says now breaking out in fits of laughter. “But I wasn’t the one who needed help,” he says “Maxie was..”
“Why?” they both ask in unison.
“Didn’t you here she has a boyfriend now also know and the one and only Tay,” he says putting his hand under his chin.
“Ew,” Paige says. Taylor giver her a ‘what the fuck did you just say?’ look.
“I though you were gay?” Jade says.
“I am... gay as fuck. Dude you know how people say ‘I’m straight as a line’?” we all nod “Well if you looked at my line it would be like looking at you earbuds after they’ve been in your bag for a month,” we all laugh because it is so true “but I Maxie needs a temporary boyfriend because she had this whole long thing where she didn’t want Ashley to date Colin because of the thing you know, and so she said she liked him but Ashley’s back up plan, Dillon, is totally gay, but she talked to Colin for Maxie and now he is gonna ask her out but she doesn’t want that anymore so, Taylor had to step in and work some magic,” he says. There is a noise at my door and we all turn to see, the one, the only. Ashely. She has the best timing.
