Bright will also needs to speak to his mother about it, Bright wants to hear it straight from his mother's mouth that the merger is because she doesn’t want to leave the company just to Bright. If that’s the case, what was the point of him rushing through his studies so he could start with the company sooner? What was even the point of him doing a chemistry degree when he could have done something a lot more interesting which he likes. He won’t talk to Pam tonight though, he knows better than to talk with his mother when he’s already wound up he has a way of making things so much worse. There’s also a mess in his kitchen which he needs to clean up, and he needs to eat something and get a shower, but he can’t seem to find it in himself to even move from his spot. But a knock at the door finally makes him move. He wonders if it’s Josh again coming back for round 2, but when he answers the door Bright felt extremely relieved to see Win standing. Bright instantly pulled the lawyer in a tight hug burying himself.

Win hug back Bright and moved inside closing the door behind them. He gently caresse Bright's hair and murmured "Hey, You weren’t answering your phone. Is everything alright?". Bright pulled himself and smiles tightly saying "Fine, sorry my phone is on silent. I didn’t hear it". Bright steps to the side and let Win walk inside, unaware of how dark it had gotten. Once inside Win suggested "Maybe let’s turn on some lights". He flick on the lights and illuminate Bright's apartment. He’s not sure when he got black but it certainly wasn’t dark when he came back. Which means he’s been sitting in his kitchen alone in the dark for an embarrassing amount of time. Bright ask Win "Have you eaten yet?, I didn’t get around to make anything".

Win respond while moving towards Bright's kitchen "No not yet, I figured we could cook or grab takeout or..... what happened in your kitchen?" The pieces of glass that he still hasn’t cleaned up were scattered over the floor, sparking under the lights. It’s was Win's set up afterall for him, Bright felt too embarrassing seeing the fruit bowl like this knowing what just happened earlier. Bright stayed quiet, he doesn’t wanted to tell Win about Josh doing it  Maybe Win might do something stupid like wanted to protect him, and he doesn’t know how he’ll deal with that. Bright never needed to be protected before, there was no one in his life who wanted to protect him and he still doesn't know if he need that . But he knows Win and he is sure Win will rush to the worst conclusion to protect him with his everything.

Bright answer "Oh,... It’s nothing... I just dropped the fruit bowl". Win look Bright with serious expression and stated "Bright, I know you didn’t drop this, it wouldn’t shatter like this if you just dropped it. But It’s fine, it doesn’t matter You wasn’t attached to it anyway, I’ll clean it up". Bright quickly replied "I'll do it". He went to grabs the broom and pan out of the cupboard, but Win follows him and takes it off from Bright's hand saying "I know you didn’t do this". Bright softly said "Win, please, just drop it". Win ask "Josh did it, didn’t he?" Bright stammered "Y You..  don’t know that". Win plainly said "I saw his car outside earlier, that’s why I came later".

Bright closed his eyes and sighs, he doesn't want to do this, he doesn’t want to have this conversation with Win, not now he again said "Please just drop it Win". This is the thing what Bright always do, and they’re not actually involved in each others lives. Win can’t protect him, he can’t do anything about the way Josh treats him.  And Bright can’t do anything about what happens in his life. They’re not anything to each other, not for long either. Win cupped Bright's cheek and  asked "Does he do this often?". Bright shook his head muttering "It doesn’t matter... it’s my problem not yours". Win grits his teeth, he knows Bright is right and there’s nothing he can do for his Angel. He wrote up the goddamn contract that binds them together anyway, he knows there’s no getting out of it. Win took a deep breath and calmly said "You can talk to me Angel. Maybe I can help you".

Bright quickly retorted "There’s nothing to help. It was just a stupid argument that got out of hand". Win snapped "You’re not even living together yet and he’s doing this shit, what’s it going to be like when you move in together?". Bright stated "I don’t know, but what can I do about it? I can’t leave you. I’m in this for the next twenty five years. You’re the lawyer, who wrote this contract up so tell me what the hell I’m supposed to do if I’m not happy with the work you did it for me"

After saying Bright felt Silence. Cold and Heavy. He felt he's done real good this time, Bright has pushed Win too far and he is going to leave him atlast. That’s what its best for them, maybe he is destined for Josh after all. But Win did exactly opposite, he defies their distance Win moved forward, he closed the gap between them and wraps Bright in his arms, kissing his head, resting his chin on the crown of Bright's head. Win murmured "I’m sorry Angel. I just....I can’t stand the thought of you with him knowing he’s like this. It’s the matter where rest of your life is involved.... it’s not just the marriage or the contract, your father's businesses are merged, his fucking attitude will always going to be a part of your life". Bright wrapped his arms around Win and whispers miserably
"You think I don’t know that?. I thought I knew what I was doing but the closer wedding gets the more I wish I hadn’t agreed on this. There’s nothing I can do anything now, is there?".

Win stays quiet, he’s either thinking or he doesn’t want to tell Bright that he’s right, there’s absolutely no way out and Bright is stuck with Josh for next 25 years. Win opened his mouth and firmly said "The only thing you can do is break the contract. Angel, but you have to think about what that means for the rest of your life. Would your mother forgive you for doing that? Would Pam disown you and take away your part of the company?".

Bright started think Pam would absolutely not forgive him for breaking the contract. He'd get fired from his job, he'd lose everything and left with nothing, not even a reference for a new job application. He's got his own savings tucked away for an emergency, but they certainly wouldn’t last the rest of his life. He’d always be the disgraced Vachirawit son who ran away from his own wedding and his cushy lifestyle.

But in exchange of this he'd gets a life without the pressure of the company and a mother like Pam doesn’t sound like the worst thing in the world. He'd get away from this State, hell he’d beg groceries and it'll make him happier than how he is here. And the best part will be he'll be far away from Josh too, it’s all is too enticing. Bright tighten his hold on Win. He couldn’t ask Win to run away with him though, he couldn’t take Win settled life from him. He cannot as Win to leave his home and secure career just for him, he doesn’t even know if Win will do it for him. So what would be worse than, leaving Win behind and running away or staying here getting married to Josh and having Win close enough to just touch him but never being able to get close enough to be with him?.

Bright swallowed hard. Both are sounding like his own personal hell, he just has to decide which way he wants to get tortured for the rest of his life. Bright after thinking it through said looking at Win "If I break the contract I would never be forgiven, and I couldn’t stay here. Mom will disown me, I have some savings but it’s not enough to get me by far too long. I just don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have all of this, it’s all I’ve ever known". Win nods slowly and  whispered "I know, no one can make that decision but you Angel. But please just think carefully about everything. I don’t want to see you getting hurt".

Bright nods and wrap his arms around Win again What would hurt more, leaving or staying? Both have their consequences, and both would probably leave him miserable, he just has to decide which life of misery he wants more, one alone or one with Josh.

right knows which one he’d prefer, but he doesn’t know which one he’ll go through with. Win cleans up the glass and Bright orders takeout, neither of them in the mood for cooking now. Luckily the whole incident has clouded over the earlier appointment so Win doesn’t ask any questions and Bright like always doesn’t want to talk about it at the best of times, let alone now with Win. While eating Win murmured  "I actually came to ask you something". Bright smile for the first time since long and said "Oh? Something more interesting than what’s already going on?".
