Hello, it's me again! I've kept my promises so far so I think that's a good sign.
Sorry this took so long. I was having trouble getting to the end of the chapter without making it too confusing.
I hope you hated that cliffhanger because another one is coming your way. (At least I warned you this time, right?)
Dedicated to @dolfinscove for dying at every single cliffhanger I've written. Thank you so much my friend for taking time out of your fabulous life to read this humble fanfiction.
Okay, I'll stop talking now.

Simon's POV
My mind surfaced back to the real world again. I saw the beginning stages of frostbite starting to form on my body, mostly on my arms. I wasn't sure how much longer I could go; I wasn't even sure how I survived this long.
"Stop, please..." I begged the man. "I don't even know who you are. Please, just let me go. I promise I won't tell what happened."
"Ha!" the man cruelly laughed. "While I don't really care if you tell people what goes on in here. They won't believe you; I guarantee it."
"Why won't they believe me?" I asked. At that point, I didn't even really feel the cold; in fact, I felt normal. Maybe I was just hallucinating everything that was happening here, and it's all a nightmare and that I'll wake up soon. That was what I was hanging onto, but somehow, I knew it wasn't a dream.
"Because they won't," he said. "I'll make them not care about that."
"How?" I asked. "These people are the police, of course they would care."
The man laughed again. "Do you really think that the mundanes are going to be able to stop me? One of the most powerful demons ever to walk the face of the earth? The ruler of Edom?"
Again with Edom...
He went on before I could think about it even more. "Despite all of that, you think that those mortals will be able to stop me? That is an insult!"
My head shot up as I realized something. Demon? "What demon are you?" I asked.
The demon scoffed. "Sometimes I forget that I was the one that did this to you. I am Asmodeus. I was the one who took away your memories."

Izzy's POV
I woke up panting yet again in my bed. The dreams of Simon being attacked or even eaten by demons becomes more heart-pounding than the last. Sleep is a rare thing for me nowadays.
I rub my eyes and scan my surroundings. The light shining through my room was golden, telling me that it would be nightfall soon. My heart sank. Almost an entire day had gone by without a single sighting of Simon yet. I knew that if they did hear something, they would come to me right away. They wouldn't be that cruel to me.
I really just wanted to break down and cry, but I knew I was stronger than that. I knew that I could hold it together and not lose whatever dignity I have.
Someone knocked on my door. "Come in," I said loudly.
It was Clary. I can't say I wasn't surprised, but I also can't say that I was expecting it either.
"I thought you would be up," she said her scarlett hair turning fiery in the golden sunlight.
"Yeah," I said, omitting the part about the nightmares. "Any word about Simon?"
