 Ello :)

Pls I'm so sorry. It's been like..three months. Don't kill me. This one is a little short too..yea

             {4 days before the accident}

"No."

"But, like, why?"

You sighed, frustration lingering in your words as you spoke, "Because, Tony, if I do it'll be the end of me. I'm not testing out your new trap for Sam, he may be named after a bird but he isn't an actual bird."

Tony only sighed in defeat, wiping the oil off his hands onto a near by cloth, "Why so stubborn, huh? It's been 4 months since you've been here and not one prank? Why's that, squirt?"

You bit the inside of your cheek, hesitant to give a response.

"Cause, I-I made a promise. To my dad's. Mostly James." You sighed, "I promised him I'd do better at this because—..it dosen't matter. And I happen to like Sam so, that's two."

Tony scoffed, hitting you ontop your head with the rag, "Fine. I'm out for a little with Pepper, gotta run some papers into the file for next week's missions. Feel free to do your work while I'm out."

"When have I ever?" You laughed.

He chuckled as he closed the Lab door behind him. The soft click of the knob let you know that you were officially alone. Tony was right, you haven't done or were currently working on ways to piss anyone off, you couldn't as much as you wanted too. You promised to be better for your father's, you promised to at least try and give them a chance before you pulled anything. It's been four months, maybe you could pull a small thing. Something good but not to harmful? You sighed, rubbing your forehead in the process. No. You can't. You promised them. You may have everything you need in the Tower, going from your Aunt's and Uncles, to your Father's and Jarvis, but you still felt lonely. You missed Peter. The only actual friend you had since he kinda saved you from an ass whooping when you first arrived at the Adoption Center. Maybe you could visit him?

An actual light bulb went off in your head. That's exactly what you'll do. You'll visit Peter in the Orphanage and catch up, maybe even persuading your father's to have them adopt him. Just thinking about you two being back together made you smile with joy as you rushed to your father's bedroom. Knocking harshly but excitedly, the door opened and you had to look up a bit before meeting the eyes of Steve.

"Hi." You grinned.

"..Hi." He mumbled back, stretching his arms, "What's up, princess?"

Your smile grew wider as you started talking, waving your hands about, "So, like, my friend Peter that was in the orphanage with me? I kinda want to visit him for a little so we can catch up. I just really miss him and he's all the way in Queens so I thought you could maybe take me over there so I can say hi, Oh! And then maybe you can adopt him too so we can be together again! And maybe you can put us in a school or homeschooling like we did in our room and—"

"Woah, woah there. Okay?" Steve stopped you, wide-eyed, "Let's take a deep breath,"

You inhaled as he did with you.

"And let it out." He exhaled, as you did too, "First off, yes. We can take you to see your friend in Queens. Second, I don't know if we can adopt him too, and Third, I'm not so sure putting you in school would be such a good idea. I mean, you wanna learn that bad?"

"No." You grimaced, "I just..thought it was a good idea."

"It is." Steve agreed, "But it's also a little dangerous. Especially since you live with super-humans, magical people, and Tony. You show up in one of his cars and the whole world is on your back. So, one step at a time, yeah?"

"Mhm." You hummed, bouncing on your heels, "So we can go?"

"Yes."

"When?"

"I don't know yet."

"Can we go today?"

"Maybe, I'm no-"

"What about after dinner? Or lunch?"

"Baby-"

"What if we just use the jets?"

"You snoop too much." He laughed, grabbing a hold of your shoulders, "I promsie you you'll meet your friend and have a wonderful time together, okay? Now go bother Uncle Bruce."

"Okay!" You squealed, skipping off into the Med Bay.

Dear god..., Steve thought, Help us all.
