The battles screeched to a halt as all of the battling dragons flew off of Berk almost as if a signal had been sent.

"Good riddance!" Toothless roared (no Toothless can't ACTUALLY talk, this is just his roars that only dragons understand).

He sauntered away in relief. But where had Hiccup gone?

Astrid looked around her and saw Stormfly lying on the ground wounded. "Stormfly!" She yelled in a shrill voice. Her yell attracted Toothless.

"You don't need to scream!" Toothless roared and then he saw Stormfly. "What happened to her Astrid?" He asked worriedly.

Astrid didn't reply and of course Toothless was annoyed at that. "Vikings. Can't hear anything."

He went up next to Stormfly and whispered to her. "Stormfly? You have to get up! Where are you hurt!?" But Stormfly's reply was only a weak hiss.

"Another Nadder...pinned me with his tail...spikes and it went...through my skin...on my stomach." Toothless immediately checked at her stomach and sure enough it was bleeding. He pushed Astrid toward the spot and she gasped in shock.

Toothless licked roughly around the spike and with his teeth he quickly pulled out the spike. It made a *shing* sound like a sword being drawn from its hold. When the spike went out Stormfly screeched in pain and Astrid's face went white.

But Stormfly stood up and shook herself out. Astrid laughed out loud in relief. "Thank you Toothless! You saved her life for me!" She hugged Stormfly and Stormfly returned it with an affectionate push.

"I didn't do it for you Astrid." Toothless roared happily and he lovingly nuzzled Stormfly's head. She returned the gesture and gave him a small lick on the cheek.

"Thank you Toothless." She whispered. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Fishlegs and Snotlout walked up to Astrid. "Ever wonder what they say in their weird roars?" Fishlegs inquired.

"Where's Hiccup? I want to ask him why he didn't help me against that Gronckle! HE WAS WALKING PAST WHILE IT HAPPENED!"

Astrid rolled her eyes and looked around. Huh. No Hiccup.

"Hiccup!" She called. Her voice echoes eerily around Berk as everyone was inside their homes recovering or sleeping.

"We can look." Fishlegs suggested. They walked around and as they passed an alleyway Astrid stopped and saw some paper.

"Uh, guys?" The paper was folded and their was a strange smell to it. They all hovered over as Astrid read it. It said:

Dear Berk;

Hello! It's Jin. You don't quite know who I am, but you would if you saw me. Drago is alive and well. We sent those dragons to cover our tracks. Our main objective was to take your chief! Don't worry. He's with us, and he better help us otherwise we'll kill him. Have fun cleaning up!
~Jin

Astrid gasped. "They have Hiccup!" They heard a roar behind them. It was Toothless.

"What? No!" He screeched. He ran to the edge of town all the way to the cliffs. He saw a ship far off in the distance with his extra long dragon vision. The Vikings wouldn't see it.

He tried to fly off after it, but his dumb tail! He needed Hiccup's prosthetic leg to fly! He roared into the sky.

"HICCUP!"
