-What do you mean Redhead and Softie went to fight demons all on their own? -I said.

-W-Well... -Gilda stuttered. -Emma said she can't let you do everything on your own anymore. And Norman ran after her to stop her, but it's been half an hour and they're still gone.

Sigh... Why must you do this to me, Redhead? You too, Softie.

-Alright. Guess I have no choice but to find them.

-Wait, Rhea. I'll come with you.

I turned around to see Emo Boy.

-Ooh~? -I smirked. -You wanna come along~?

-Don't be stupid... -he hissed, trying to hide the fact that he was blushing. -I'm just worried about Norman and Emma.

-If you say so! Let's go, then! -I cheerfully grabbed his hand and off we went.

-By the way, where's Zachary? -Ray asked. -Wasn't he supposed to help you kill the demons?

-Nah, he turned out to be a dumbass. -I said casually, confusing Ray even more.

Okay, it's not so bad. All I have to do is find Emma and her fanboy, kill the three monsters and make sure Zachary doesn't hurt anyone. Easy.

-You don't have to do it all by yourself, you know. -I heard Ray's edgy voice behind me.

-This again? Ray, baby, I know you're all worried, but I'll be fine. I promise.

-It's... Not just that.

Woah there. Someone is being strangely honest today.

-You're so focused on fighting the demons you barely spend any time with me and the others. I mean, when was the last time we had some fun?

-Oh my gosh, Emo Boy. I never thought YOU will be the one to say: "Rhea, drop the serious act, it's boring"!

-Don't get me wrong, I'm surprised too. It's just that you always make everyone feel safe and laugh. I mean, you used to, before the new farms and stuff.

-Yeah, I know. My jokes feel pretty forced lately, huh?

-Kinda. You know, now that I think about it, I don't think you ever complained about feeling scared or stressed. Not once in your life.

I sighed and sat down. Ray sat next to me.

-Okay, let's make a deal. -I smiled. -I'll tell you how I really feel, and you'll tell me how YOU really feel. Okay?

Ray blushed, knowing exactly what I meant. After a moment of silence, he nodded.

-Ok, I'll go first. -I said. -My worst fear is that something bad will happen to you guys. I don't want any of you to feel alone or scared. But, to be honest, our situation just keeps getting worse. The demons followed us to the human world, Ava kidnapped us, and now we're stuck in here. I'm starting to think they'll never leave us alone. We'll be fighting and escaping until we die. You guys deserve better than that.

I took a deep breath in and out, feeling better. I guess I needed to get all this off my chest.

-I see. -Ray said. -Well, maybe you should put more trust in us. You may be the legendary premium child, but we're also pretty smart, you know?

-Heh. You're right. -I chuckled. -I used to be humble back in Grace Field, but now I feel like I have to constantly protect you guys. Everyone calls me perfect, so I try my best to be.

-Well, if it makes you feel better, I don't really think you're perfect. For example, your jokes are annoying.

We both laughed as I ruffled Ray's hair.
