Kang Nari
The hype had not died down even as the approached mid-day. Kang Nari walked towards the cafeteria of Shinhwa, hoping to find something suitable to eat. Butler Kim had suggested she packed her lunch, but Nari decided against it. She had originally planned to eat her lunch on the rooftop but recalling the incident from yesterday, she decided not to.
She was not about to occupy someone else's place. She subconsciously shook her head a little with a small pout at the thought.
Yet as soon as she stepped her foot in the cafeteria, she regretted it. She had wished to she had stayed in the class instead. Nari froze completely as she watched the scene before her unfold.
A crowd had formed towards the center just as it had when Nari first arrived at Shinhwa. However, instead of pouring juice on someone, the guy with weird-looking hair was smashing a cake in someone's face instead.
Seriously, does he not get tired of doing these things?
Nari frowned at his actions as the entire cafeteria stood silently, watching the drama unfold.
"Our Jun-Pyo-nim only eats cakes made by top-notch chefs." The trio, Jin Sun Mi as Nari had learned they called themselves, spoke.
Meanwhile, the girl stood there humiliated with tears flowing down her face as people watched with either shock or amusements. The scene felt all too familiar to Kang Nari. It hadn't been long ago that Nari had stood in a similar situation.
Nari felt her breathing quicken as the unwanted memories started flooding in. She immediately grabbed the bracelet around her wrist and started twisting the beads as she tried calming her breathing.
She wished someone had helped her then. Even if it was just by asking her if she was okay. She wished she had gotten some sort of help, some sort of comfort back then. Kang Nari cursed at herself for becoming a spectator in someone else's humiliation despite having been through something similar.
Gathering her thoughts and courage, Kang Nari took out the napkin returned to her earlier today and started walking towards the girl, totally ignoring that the guy behind the girl's agony was still there, standing parallel to the girl.
As soon as Nari was within the girl's hearing range, she called out.
"Are you okay?" Her soft voice echoed throughout the silent cafeteria, turning the attention of everyone, including the infamous F4, towards her.
Gu Jun Pyo saw the beautiful girl walking towards him and being the self-entitled brat that he was, noticed the napkin in her in hand and thought the question was meant for him. Nari could see the man roll his eyes as she got closer to the pair.
Gu Jun Pyo reached out and took the napkin from her hand to wipe his hand, shocking the cafeteria and leaving Nari with a shook expression on her face. Before Gu Jun Pyo could do anything with the napkin, Nari snatched it away from.
