Y/N's POV:
It was just a normal ordinary day at lunch with the Ducks. They're literally the best team in the world & I can count on them for anything. I do have a crush on one of the boys though & that is the most skilled hockey player, Adam Banks. I've had a crush on him ever since our Team U.S.A days, but I was scared to tell him cause I was afraid of rejection.

I mean, who wouldn't have a crush on him? He's a kind, sweet, & understanding boy who always knows how to make my days better. The Ducks know that I like him, but of course they won't say anything around him.

Adam had moved to the Varsity team since he's one of the best players on the Ducks. I don't really see or talk to him anymore because of it, but I just hope he comes back to our team soon.

I was sitting in the middle between Julie & Guy eating some of my Spaghetti on my plate. I then looked at the table where the Varsity was sitting at. My eyes were mostly on Adam. He was busy concentrating on his homework while the other Jocks were having their own conversation.

Julie noticed & looked at me while giving me a smirk. "Y/N, are you staring at Banksie again?"

I snapped out of my trance & shook my head. "Umm, no. Why would I do that? That's weird."

Julie raised her eyebrow. "Oh really? Then why were you staring over there? There has to be a reason why."

Guy then leaned his head over. "Yeah Y/N. Why were you staring over there for?"

Me & Julie looked at him with our eyebrows furrowed. "Hush Guy. I thought I had saw a bug. That's why."

Charlie butted in from across the table. "Okay. Now we all know that was a lie. How can she stare at a bug for that long?"

Julie chuckled. "Hmm. I think she means that the bug is sitting in the chair next to Scooter."

Julie, Guy, & Charlie laughed while I playfully rolled my eyes. "Really guys. You didn't have to do poor Banksie like that.", I giggled.

Charlie gave me a smirk. "But we all know why that's why you were staring, Y/N. You can't deny it."

I giggled. "Okay, fine. Yes I was staring at him. I kinda wanna go over there and talk to him. It seems like he doesn't really talk to the Varsity."

Dwayne butted in. "I don't think you should do that, Y/N. You already know that those fellas are meaner than a bunch of wild dogs."

As the others were talking, I was still staring over at Adam. I then saw one of the Varsity cheerleaders sit next to him, putting her arm on his shoulder. I rolled my eyes in disgust & scoffed. "Who in the hell does she think she is putting her hand on him. Besides, isn't she dating that Conehead Cole?"

The other Ducks looked at me with blank expressions on their faces. "Woah Y/N. Looks like someone's protective of what's theirs.", Guy said with a smirk.

I nudged him again in the arm. "Guy, once again, hush. I just don't like her being around him. I have a bad feeling about her.", I said rolling my eyes.

Julie nodded in agreement. "I agree. I think Cindy and Mindy are up to no good sometimes."

I looked over at the other table to still see Cindy sitting next to him, trying to get his attention. She then looked me straight in the eyes. I rolled my eyes once more & stood up from my seat, grabbing my backpack. "I don't wanna be around for this. I'm gonna go to my dorm real quick. I'll see y'all in class."

I walked out of the Cafeteria not looking back. The Ducks stared at each other awkwardly. Charlie looked over to the other table to see Adam looking back at them. He was also confused on why I ran off.
