My POV:
It was another ordinary school day at Eden Hall. I had just finished my 3rd period class, which was US History. I walked to my locker to get my books for my 4th period, which was Algebra 2. I closed my locker & turned around to surprisingly see Guy right behind me. We been like really close friends since District 5.

"Guy don't scare me like thattt", I said hitting him playfully on the arm.

"Haha, sorry Y/N, didn't mean to scare ya there", he chuckled.

"It's okay. What class do you have right now?", I said giggling.

"Uhh, Y/N we have the same class.", Guy chuckled.

"Oh shit, sorry I forgot", I laughed.

"Nah it's fine. I was gonna ask you if you wanted to walk to class with me since we have the same class", he laughed.

"Oh yeah sure Guy", I giggled & smiled.

"Okay then, let's go", Guy said as we starting walking off.

...

We had just finished 4th period & it was lunchtime. I was waiting by Luis's class so he could walk to lunch with me. Luis & I were dating, so we always waited for each other ofc. As I was waiting, I heard someone walking behind me.

"Oh hey again Y/N."

"Hey Guy, why aren't you at lunch?"

"Because I'm waiting on you to come to lunch."

"Oh, well I'm waiting for Luis so he could come with us."

"He's not in class. I think I saw him walk into the practice rink.", Guy said concerned.

"Why would he be in there by himself?", I questioned.

"I don't know. Wanna go check?"

"Yeah, we might want to."

...

Me & Guy walked to the practice rink, opened one of the double doors slowly, & walked inside quietly.

I didn't see anyone in there until I looked to my right. I could not believe my eyes. I saw my boyfriend Luis & one of the Varsity cheerleaders making out in the stands.

It felt like my heart dropped when I saw them two. I started getting upset with tears in my eyes.

"Fuck you Luis, we're over you asshole!", I yelled flipping him off & running out of the rink.

"Y/N wait!", Guy said trying to grab my arm, but I was too quick.

"Real nice Luis!", he yelled as he ran after me.

I ran to mine & Connie's dorm & locked myself in there. I plopped onto my bed & started to cry my eyes out. I was just so devastated on why Luis would do this to me after 5 months, after everything I've done for him.

After 30 minutes, I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in.", I said putting my face in my pillow.

I heard the door open & close. I then felt someone sit down next to me & put their hand on my shoulder.

"Hey, are you feeling okay?"

I looked & it was Guy. He had a slight frown on his face.

"Yeah, I'm fine. What are you doing here Guy?"

"Well I thought I'd come check on you since you and Luis just broke up not too long ago. I'm very sorry about what he did to you Y/N. You deserve someone who is loyal and will always treat you right."

"It's okay. But why do you care so much though?", I asked concerned.

"Well I know you're my best "girl" friend, but I think now is the right moment I should tell you. Y/N, the truth is that.... I like you."

"What?", I said with my eyes getting wide & sitting up next to him.

"Ever since we met and became close during District 5, I've started to slowly have feelings for you. I was gonna tell you. But when you got together with Luis, I didn't wanna ruin y'all's relationship. So now that y'all are not together anymore, I decided to tell you now. I understand if you don't feel the same way.", Guy said while looking down.

I picked up Guy's chin with my finger & looked into his brown/hazel eyes.

"To be honest Guy, I had liked you too all these years. But I never told you, because I didn't wanna ruin our friendship. When I had gotten with Luis, I had liked him of course, but I had no idea that you liked me. Overall, you're the most sweetest and understanding guy I've ever met."

"And you're the most sweetest and understanding girl I've ever met.", he smiled.

Guy then placed his hands on my cheeks & slowly leaned in. I leaned in also & we kissed. I wrapped my arms around his neck while we both laid down in bed. I stopped the kiss to sit on top of him & continued. His hands then traveled down to my hips.

After a while of kissing, we broke the kiss & both sat up, smiling at each other like idiots.

"So Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?", Guy said as he looked up & smirked.

"Yes I will Guy Germaine.", I giggled.

I then leaned in to kiss him again until we heard the door open.

"Hey Guy, is Y/N oka- Oh my god!", Connie said surprised.

Guy & I quickly pulled away & looked at Connie.

"So are you two together now?", Connie giggled.

"Yeah we are", I giggled.

"Oh my god, yayyy! Congratulations you two!", she said hugging me.

"Thank you bestie", I said as me & Guy giggled.

"No problem. Now we all better get to 5th period, because lunch is already over."

"We're coming.", I laughed as I got up holding Guy's hand.

I honestly didn't expect to end up being with my best friend, but I'm glad I did.
