Aubrie's POV:
I was in my dorm room reading a book until I saw a note slide from under my door. I got up from my bed & picked up the note to read it.

"Hi Aubrie. I know this is on short notice, but I need to talk to you before practice. It's nothing bad, I promise you. See you in a bit. Sincerely, Guy."

I smiled at what I read, but wondered at the same time what Guy would need to talk to me about.

I had just noticed that it was almost time for practice, so I changed into some comfy clothes & headed out my dorm to the locker room.

I walked into the locker to be greeted by my besties Connie & Julie. "Hiii girl!", Connie & Julie both said giving me a hug.

"Hi girls. Umm, can I tell y'all something?", I whispered.

"Yeah, sure. You can tell us anything, girl.", Julie said with a nod.

"So before I got here, I was reading a book and I noticed a note slide under my door.", I explained til Connie cut me off.

Connie looked at me with a smirk & raised her eyebrows. "Oooo, mysterious. Who was it from?"

Julie looked at me the same way. "Yeah girl, who gave you it?"

"It was from....ummm....Guy..", I said quietly so nobody would hear us.

The girls eyes widened when I said that. "Oooooo, I think Guy has a crush on you!", Connie whisper yelled in excitement.

"I agree with Connie on that one.", Julie chuckled.

I looked down with my face blushing a little. "No he doesn't, girls! I think he just wants to hang out somewhere after practice as friends.", I whispered.

"Hmm. You sure about that? Cause it looks like Guy is coming your way.", Connie giggled. I looked to my left to see Guy coming towards us.

"We'll just let y'all two be.", Julie said as her & Connie walked away, leaving me by myself.

"No, wait! Don't leave!", I whispered, but they didn't hear me.

"Hey Aubrie.", Guy said as he waved at me.

"Oh...hi Guy ", I giggled.

"So about that note that I left you earlier, I wanted to ask you something.", he said.

"Yeah...what is it?", I asked in concern.

"I- I was wondering if you wanted to get some Ice Cream together after practice? If you don't have any plans, of course.", Guy said looking down & scratching the back of his neck.

My face expression immediately turned into a smile. "Yeah, I would love to.", I giggled.

"R-really? Great! I'll meet you at your dorm an hour after practice.", he said with his charming smile.

"Sounds good.", I said. We finished putting on our gear & headed out to the rink to practice.

After practice, I headed into the locker room to change out of my gear until Connie & Julie came up to me. "Soooo Aubrie, what did Guy ask you?", Connie asked raising her eyebrows along with Julie.
