Y/N's POV:
I'm honestly having a love crisis happening right now. Me & Charlie have been besties since our District 5 days. He's funny, kind, sometimes a hothead, but he's always there for me in anyway he can. I have no other way to say this, but I feel like I'm falling for him. I would tell him, but I'm afraid he won't feel the same. Maybe I should wait until the right time to tell him. Who knows?

...

We had just walked into the locker room from morning practice to get changed into our school clothes. As I was about to get to my locker, who's was next to Charlie's, I tripped over my own skate & pushed Charlie to the ground. He had caught me when I fell on him. Everyone was just staring at us while we were staring at each other with our faces turning red. "Woah there, guys. Is it getting hot in here or-"

"Shut up, Averman!" Russ cut him off while nudging his arm.

Me & Charlie were still staring at each other until he spoke. "Umm...Y/N....you can get off of me now.."

My eyes had widened & I immediately got off of him. "Shit! I'm sorry, Charlie. I just stared into blank space after a while. It was just unexpected."

I lend my hand out & helped him up from the floor. He chuckled. "Nah, it's okay. Accidents happen. It was kinda funny anyways." His classic grin formed on his face.

I nudged him a little. "You're mean, Spazway.", I giggled. I then got my clothes from my locker & went to the restroom to go change.

Charlie's POV:
I watched Y/N with a smile on my face as she walked away from me. I don't know why, but I just can't get her out of my head. She just looks like a dream every time I see her. She's basically the prettiest girl I've ever seen in my life. I want to tell her how I feel, but I don't know if she'll reject me or not. Maybe she just sees me as a friend. Who knows?

As I was putting on my shoes, Y/N had walked past me to sit next to Luis, who wasn't that far from me.

I could feel that feeling rising inside me as he was talking & laughing with her. I can admit that I am jealous with some guys that talk to her. Especially since I feel like I'm falling for her.

Y/N's POV:
As I was talking to Luis, I heard Charlie speak from right next to me. "Hey Y/N, I think we better get going to class. We don't wanna be late do we?"

As I was about to speak, Charlie grabbed my hand & pulled me up. I looked back at Luis & shrugged my shoulders. "Okay Luis, see ya later."

We both ran out of the locker room & into the hallway by my 2nd period class, which was Art. I looked at Charlie with a cocky eyebrow. "Woah Spazway. What was the holdup back there with Luis?", I laughed.

Charlie looked like he was sweating a little. He chuckled slightly. "Oh, that. It was nothing. I just didn't want us to be late for class, that's all."

I looked at him to study his face, but I ended up brushing it off. "Hmm. Okay then. Also, if you're wondering what I was talking about with Luis, he was telling me that somehow Rick and the Varsity team invited us Ducks to a party they're throwing later."

Charlie looked at me with his eyebrows furrowed. "Rick? Inviting us when he, Cole, and the others tortured us when we first came here? That's pretty odd, but I guess I'll go since you'll be going."

I smiled & laughed. "Great! Meet me at my dorm around 6. See you later, Spazway. Don't be necio and get into trouble." Charlie chuckled & told me bye while walking away.

Hmm. I wonder why Charlie was acting strange. There's something up, but I can't put my finger on it. Oh well, let's just get this school day over with.

Charlie's POV:
It was now an hour after school ended. I had just arrived at Y/N's dorm. I knocked on her door & she answered. She looked so beautiful & gorgeous in her cute black dress. I just couldn't stop admiring her perfect self.

Y/N's POV:
I noticed that Charlie was staring into blank space, so I snapped my fingers a few times. "Spazway. Hello. Earth to Spazway!"

He had snapped out of his trance & spoke. He chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his neck."Oh! Sorry Y/N. My mind had wandered off. But uh, you look beautiful."

I giggled & smiled, looking down at the ground. "Thank you Charlie. You don't look bad yourself."

We looked at each other for a few seconds. "So, should we get going already?", Charlie asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, we should. I don't wanna keep the other Ducks waiting. I know we won't be there for that long, but still."

"Alrighty then. After you, my lady.", Charlie said in a British accent while bowing down like a gentleman. I giggled & went out the door, closing the door behind me.

Us & the Ducks arrived at the party in the student lounge. All of the Varsity players & the cheerleaders were here. "Woah, this seems like some party.", Averman said.

Julie rolled her eyes & shook her head. "It really ain't that cool, Averman."

Rick & Cole then came over to us. "Hey Duckies. I see y'all accepted my invite.", Rick said with a smirk.

Charlie grunted & rolled his eyes. "We weren't gonna come, but we came anyways."

Rick chuckled. "I knew y'all would come. Just relax and make yourselves comfortable." Him & Cole walked away.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm gonna go get some punch. I'll be right back.", I told Charlie.

Charlie's POV:
As I was talking with Adam, I looked over to see a Varsity player trying to flirt with Y/N & make her laugh.

Jealousy started to rise inside of me. I don't trust any of the Varsity players talking to her. Adam tapped on my shoulder. "Charlie? Are you okay, man?", he asked.

I shook my head in response while still staring over. "No, I'll be right back."

I walked over to Y/N & put my arm around her. I gave the Varsity player a sting eye. "Excuse me. I believe that you're flirting with my girlfriend here, so back off before things get ugly, big guy."

The Varsity player scoffed & walked away. Me & Y/N looked at each other. "Okay Spazway, what was that all about?", she asked with her eyebrows furrowed while smiling.

I chuckled. "That? Oh that was nothing. I just didn't want him talking to you cause you know, he's a Varsity player and he might not be up to no-"

Y/N had cut me off. "Charlie Conway, do you have a crush on me?", she giggled.

My face was turning red. "I- maybe. Okay yes, I do like you. I was also gonna ask you-"

"Let me guess, you want me to be your girlfriend?"

I chuckled nervously. "What if that's what I'm trying to say?"

She nodded while laughing. She then got on her tippy toes & kissed my cheek. "Of course, Charlie. I had a crush on you too anyways."

I smiled at her & gave her a passionate kiss on the lips. We then went over with the rest of the Ducks to dance.
