Braylee's POV:
It was a cool & fresh Friday afternoon. I had just gotten done with school for today since us Ducks had no practice.

I was walking to my car to go home until I heard someone running up to me from behind. "Bray, wait up hun."

I immediately knew it was my boyfriend Dwayne by his accent. I giggled & kissed his cheek. "Yes, did you need something, Cowboy?"

"Yeah, umm....I was wondering, that is if you have time later today, if you wanted to come horseback riding with me?", he said with his adorable smile.

I giggled. "Hmm, I've never been actual horseback riding before, but sure honey."

"Yee-haw! I- I mean, good sweetheart. Come by the horses tables around five o'clock.", he said with his adorable smirk.

"Will do, honey.", I laughed. Dwayne then walked off as I got into my car. I turned on my car & then drove off to my house.

...

Right as I got home, I told my mom that Dwayne wanted to teach me horseback riding at the stables at the school. She had said yes, but to be back home before 8:30.

I went upstairs to my room & got dressed real quick. I really didn't know what to wear, so I just kept on my jeans & changed into a t-shirt. I put on some boots that I had in my closet. I took my jacket just in case if it gets chilly later.

I told my mom goodbye & got in my car, driving off back to Eden Hall.

...

I got to the school & walked into the school grounds. Some people were surprisingly still here. I guess to just take a walk or after school activities.

I walked into the horsestables to see Dwayne waiting while putting one of the horses. Damn, my cowboy looked so handsome.

He saw me & a huge smile formed on his face. He then walked over to me & kissed my cheek. "Hey darling. Glad you made it."

I giggled & kissed his cheek back. "Hun, are you sure we're allowed to ride these horses?"

Dwayne nodded. "You really think I wouldn't ask Principal Riley and Buckley for permission first, Bray?", he laughed.

I nodded with a smirk. "You're right. You're right. You would.", I laughed.

Dwayne then opened one of the horses stables & lead it out carefully. The horse we were gonna ride was white.

"Ooooo, I love this white one!", I said jumping up & down in excitement. Dwayne just chuckled at me at how cute I was.

"Alright then, sweetheart. Just be careful on how you get on the big fella. They can be sensitive.", he laughed.

I grabbed the rope to my saddle & climbed on carefully. For some reason, I had misplaced my foot & almost fell, which I'm glad Dwayne was right there. "Oopsies, my bad hun.", I giggled nervously.

He chuckled & grabbed me by my waist, picking me up & placing me on the horse. "No worries sweetheart, just be more careful."

He then got on top of the horse also & started moving forward. I ended up wrapping my arms around him in case so I don't fall.

We basically just went around the school grounds while talking about life & laughing. God, how I adore this man so much. He knows exactly what to say to make my day.

After riding for about 30 minutes, Dwayne guided the horse back into the horsestables. He hopped off the horse carefully & turned to face me. "Alright sweetheart, did you have fun for your first time?"

I smiled while still sitting on the horse, petting it. "Yes I did. It was amazing, hun. I'm honestly surprised I didn't fall off."

Dwayne chuckled. "I'm glad you had fun and I'm glad you didn't fall off. You need help getting off, darling?"

I shook my head. "No, I'm fine. I think I got it."

Turns out I don't got it. As I stepped onto the stirrup, my foot got caught & I got stuck while dangling off a little. "Oh god, Dwayne help me.", I laughed nervously.

He quickly grabbed me & untangled my foot. Apparently he tripped while he was getting me off & we both fell backwards. "Woah, are you okay there hun?", I asked Dwayne while getting off of him & reaching for his hand.

He nodded & grabbed my hand. "Yeah, I'm fine darling, don't worry. Just tripped by accident."

As I helped him up, we both looked into each other's eyes & admired each other. I then grabbed & pulled him towards me slowly, kissing him passionately.

I then pulled away. "What was that for, Bray?", he laughed.

"For taking me on one of the best dates ever.", I giggled.

He chuckled. "You're very welcome, little missy."

I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you, Cowboy."

He put a piece of my dirty blonde hair behind my ear. "I love you more, Braylee."

He then pulled me in for another kiss as the sun was starting to set down. It was a romantic scenery.

I had the best date ever with my Cowboy. He's the best boyfriend I could ever have. He makes my days brighter.
