You were now patrolling the streets alongside one of the people assigned to you, the patrol wasn't supposed to be long which you were glad about. You may have been fully rested but that didn't mean you didn't want to sleep.

Although you were feeling this way, you let your eyes stay alert. Your body may have showed you were laid back but you made sure to memorize every little mishap in case.

The man beside you had a quirk called birds-eye, which let him see things happen from afar also allowing him to help stop things from happening before it even does. He was also pretty well-trained in combat which helped him gain a spot as a number three heroes side-kick.

His hero name was 'The Prospect Hero: Bird-eye,' his real name was Hakaku though.

He didn't try to make conversation and neither did you, it wasn't uncomfortable or awkward so it didn't bother any of you.

You looked around with conflicted eyes feeling like something was wrong, you began to focus on the auras of the civilians feeling a distressful amount of them in one area, before you could do anything you were interrupted.

A little kid who seemed to be around the age of six ran up to you with teary eyes, he gripped your leg desperately and began to let out a mix of words.

You crouched down and looked the kid in the eyes, "Shhh, I'm here, I'm here. Everything will be just fine. Focus on me, alright?" He nodded, eyes focused on you, just like you said, "Can you take a deep breath for me?"

The little boy let out a whimper and a shaky breath before nodding making you smile lightly in hopes of comforting him. "Good job! Now that you're all calmed down can you repeat what you said?" You made sure when speaking that is was soft and more questioning then demanding.

He teared up a little but tried his best to explain, "I...I was at m...my momma's w...work and- and a huge f...fire..." He couldn't finish what he was saying, just the thought made him cry but he pointed towards the direction he came from still trying to be helpful.

"I'm so proud of you! You did great! Don't worry everyone will be just fine because of how brave you are." You smiled warmly at the boy making him calm down, you looked at the worried man at your side and nodded your head towards the direction he was pointing to indicating for him to go ahead, raising your hand to wipe the tears for the boy you continued, "Stay strong, ok? So when your mom comes out she'll see how strong her boy is, alright?"

He nodded more determined but still doubtful, sensing his hesitance you sticked your pinky  out with a soft and genuine smile, "You won't have to worry any further and you wanna know why? It's because I'm right here."
