The internships ended on a Saturday. All the students departed from their mentors and friends they made whether the people were sidekicks or other interns.

They all learned new things, some more than others. They either chose to focus on new skill sets or master their own talents. In other words, they all grew.

And shockingly so did Y/n.

However, it wasn't in a way the others did.

She didn't learn how to use her quirk in different ways nor did she learn how to change her attitude on different types of people she may encounter.

But in her case, she believed she didn't need to know those things.

Instead she learned things that had absolutely nothing to do with the hero world- if anything, it was for her own personal gain.

But that didn't matter because what she learned was either going to do one of two things: subvert her focus from the l.o.v or make her stop attending classes- but only for a little- after all, she still wanted to become a hero.

Although these were both important she wasn't going to do anything until she dug deeper on the matter, and like always she'll be doing it all on her own with her dependable resources, something a friend can provide.

By the time Y/n arrived back at her apartment she was exhausted.

All she wanted to do was go to the usual café near her with her blanket and pillow. To drink the milkshake and maybe even get a cookie before napping because of how much she missed being in her own solitude.

But she knew that was nearly impossible at times like these, especially for someone whose life unexpectedly altered after a decision. If she knew things were gonna be like this when she entered the hero course, she would've never left her house.

As she set her bags down, she went straight to her bedroom and stared at her bed in longing, as much as she wanted to lay down and go straight to sleep she knew she couldn't.

Instead, she chose to sit down on the corner of her bed and think.

If she was being honest, she didn't like being stuck with her thoughts. They'd always wander to memories that she'd rather forget or theories that went against logic- and everyone already knows how much she values her logic.

But this was different. This could change so much for her so tonight was just to get more insight on if what Theo told her was true or not.

Gazing at the palm of her hand she began to remind herself of her phone call with her favorite hacker at the hospital.
