Stain stood back up to see who once again interrupted his fight only to be met with intimidating verdant eyes staring straight into his bronzed pair. This was exactly what he was waiting for. A chance to see her in action, the number one hero and her were the only ones allowed to bring him down- he wouldn't allow anyone else to do so.
He wasn't dumb, he knows when one has motivation and that seemed like something she greatly lacked. But he could also see how a surge of determination would course through her veins every time she believed strongly about something.
And that's as what he was looking for. A hero who was willing to set a goal that wasn't entirely selfish, the person he was staring at right now is willing to save any person they come across without a bat of an eye.
Yet, even his vengeful eyes could tell the difference between a wannabe hero and a real savior and he could see that she didn't want to be either allowing him to have faith in her future.
As someone who was fully against the perspective people have on so called heroes, it meant he also knows when one was different than another. And Y/n was that. Even if she was imperfect in every way, she was seen as the ideal hero- well at least in his eyes.
Like she said, she wanted to save everyone in her reach. Although it didn't seem logical, the vigilante didn't doubt her for a second.
"Y/n." He spoke this time more soother than his aggressive shouts from earlier, "I've been waiting to finally get the chance to fight you through flesh and bones."
Her eyes narrowed at his remark, "And you'll finally get the chance to but please give me a second." It seemed like today being polite was on her agenda from saying please more often than usual.
She moved Todoroki to sit beside the frozen three, "Stay here, you guys are severely injured and I don't need you guys getting in the way." She pushed before looking at Iida, "And you guys don't have to explain how you guys ended up here."
The navy-haired boy gulped at her eyes that seemed to be staring into the inner depths of his soul, however, they didn't seem angered or annoyed maybe even a little disappointed making him feel even more guilty.
Sensing his regret, she sighed and turned away, choosing to focus and deal with the situation later.
"His quirk! When he licks the blood-"
