They checked into a local hotel. It was already dark when they drove back in town from the woods. They decided to go to the morgue tomorrow instead and get some rest. They needed it since they all didnt have a break from their last cases.
They booked seperate rooms. Gray didnt think they could stay un the same room a whole night without going for each others throats.
He was in his room going through the files he had of each victim. They werent even sure if the one they assumed was first really was. At least this killer was clean. He's known some really fucked up men.
Some of them dont even have any humanity left in them. What was he saying. Not some but most of these guys were complete phsociopaths.
He heard a knock on his door and stood up to open the door.
"What do you want Demont?"
"I missed you so much that I just had to come see you," Vince said sarcastically pushing his way into the room. Gray rolled his eyes and locked the door behind them.
He noticed that Vince wasnt wearing his usual suits. He was dressed in a black t-shirt with black denim jeans. "Wow I advice you to dress like this more often. It gives you a whole new look."
Vince gave him a dry look. "You didnt tell me what you found earlier." "Thats what you came for. You could have asked in the car on our way here. And why are you all dressed up?"
"I'm going out." he answered. "I dont think its wise to go clubbing while you're on a case." he placed a hand on Vince's shoulder talking as if speaking to a child.
"I'm not going for pleasure you imbesil. Sara worked as a waitress at a bar. I want to see if anyone noticed someone stalking her or doing anything out of the ordinary."
"You were going to do this without me?"
"No you imbecile. Why do you think I came here? To wish you a good night?" Vince was clearly getting aggitated. Gray liked to see him all riled up. It broke that perfect restraint he always has.
He moved to his woredrope and started stripping.
What was wrong with this guy. Vince had a feeling Gray enjoyed riling him up. He was engrosed in his thoughts he didnt notice Gray was almost naked infront of him.
Vince was quiet as he studied the muscular body before him. He shook his head. Gray had the same marks he had, curtesy to their line of work.

"How did you know Sara?" Gray asked the blonde waitress. "We worked the same shifts. She was a really nice person. All she wanted was going back to college." Jenn sniffed. He really hated all this emotional stuff. Again he was wondering why he was doing this and not his partner. He glared at Vince to pass his point across. His partner just grinned back.
"Why would anyone do this to her. She was nice to everyone." she went back to crying and Gray sighed.
"Have you noticed anyone sudpicious these past few weeks?" she looked up at him. "No. The most interesting thing that has happened is when Jimmy came back to town." Gray turned Vince at her words.
"Where did he go?" he asked. "He went off to college two years ago. I dont really know what he was studying. You'll have to ask him that. I'm sorry I have to go back to work." she said standing up and leaving their table.
"We're going to see this Jimmy tomorrow right? Cause I'm almost falling over." Vince complained.
"What are you on about? I was the one doing all the talking," Gray said standing up.
"With your record, talking is not work to you. But listening to you talk is very tiring."
They continued their banter as they left the bar.
