They had finally got him. After an hour of searching, Ariel was able to locate a cabin he owned in the woods.

Vince and Gray were already in their car. The others followed behind. Ariel stayed behind. They drove past all the houses and alongside the woods. Vince stopped the car and parked by the roadside. All the others did the same and waited for instructions.

"Okay men. We'll surround the cabin from all sides. Make sure he doesn't get away. If he resists arrest, then you fire," Gray said and everyone moved.

Vince and him moved through the woods careful not to make any movement that may give them away.

After a few minutes they spotted the wooden cabin. It was a bit rundown but still in good shape. They waited a few minutes to make sure the others were in position before moving forward.

They walked a few feet from the cabin and pulled out their guns. They made sure to stay behind cover for safety.

"Jack! You are surrounded. Get out with your hands in the air!" Gray shouted but got nothing but silence as his answer. He motioned for Vince to go around.
Vince did as his partner said. He slowly moved to the side window. There was a small crack on the side of the window. He pressed his eye on the hole praying there was no gun.

Well he didn't expect what he saw. Jack and a blonde woman. She was still in a summer dress. Jack was dressed in sweats and gray t-shirt. And in front of them was none other than Jimmy. I knew something didn't sit well with the guy.

He went back to his partner and informed him of the new development. Gray cursed under his breath. But nodded his head. Vince resumed his journey to the back of the house. He motioned for some of the other men to help.

Gray burst into the cabin door his gun raised. Two other deputies flanked behind him. Jimmy had a gun at each of his hostages head.

"It's over Jimmy, drop the guns," Gray told him. His gun still trained on him. He knew Jimmy wasn't going to let them go. Not if he knew this was the end. He had to keep him distracted.

"Why? Why kill all those girls?"

He chuckled, "why? Why else? It's satisfying. Seeing the light fade from their eyes."

"Who stabbed you then?"

"I stabbed myself. After dealing with Jenn I had to get a solid alibi. What better alibi than bleeding on your bedroom floor." He grinned. As used to his work as he is. He hasn't gotten used to how much serial killers are sociopaths. And sadists.

He looked at the blonde woman. She had blood running down the side of her face from a wound on the side of her forehead. She had knife wounds on her arms.

Jack was no better. But his face had more marks than the woman. His sweats also had patches of blood on them and his t-shirt was almost soaked.

"I thought she was your fiancé?"

"Yeah, she's a nice girl. She had to die. I had it all planned out. Jack here was going to take the fall. 'the strangler finally takes his life, taking his last victim with him.' It would have worked if you hadn't showed up."

He raised one gun and pointed at Gray. They were at a standoff. But what scared Gray was that this man wasn't afraid to die. He could see it in his eyes.

Two shots rung out in the room. Shaking the cabin.

I'm sure no one was expecting that. To tell you the truth... Even I hadn't planned it
