"THEN, because papansin ka, you got nicked by a knife." I nodded with crossed arms after hearing Lucas' story about what happened earlier. "Understandable, you were being really foolish," I added while looking at a seated Lucas who was glaring at me sharply.
"Then you should have been the one who intervened," he didn't even bother to hide the irritation in his tone when he said that before he challengingly raised an eyebrow at me.
I rolled my eyes. "I did just that, didn't I? Who do you think knocked that student out with a few punches?"
"Yeah yeah, whatever." He looked away in defeat.
That's why they were all shocked when they found out the identity of the student.
Other than that, I'm with Lucas right because I saw a scratch on his right hand, so I borrowed a first aid kit from Zyrel, who had it with him earlier. Since I was known as the little nurse in elementary and high school, I treated his scratch.
He thanked me, but in a surly way. That's why I want to take the knife that was used to hurt him and stab him with it to finish him off.
"Are you okay?" nabalik ako sa ulirat nang marinig ko ang boses ng binatang hiniraman ko ng first aid kit kanina. Zyrel was sitting nearby where Lucas was sitting, so he saw me cleaning and treating Lucas' scratch on his hand earlier.
"Yeah, malayo sa bituka," tumigil siya saglit at iniangat ang kamay niyang nadaplisan sa ere bago ito pinakatitigan, si Zyrel naman ay napatawa ng mahina dahil sa naging sagot nung tarantadong Lucas.
Akala ba niya nakakatawa siya?
"And no need to worry, my 'girlfriend' already treated this," he added, glancing at me.
I looked away. His timing was a bit off.
Zyrel tapped Lucas on the shoulder after his brief and quiet laughter, causing both Lucas and I to turn in his direction.
"That's good," he smiled. "And by the way, thank you for saving Jasper and Xaldrien." He was thanking me and Lucas.
Well, it turns out that he's friends with both the victim and the attacker, so that might be a little hard for him right now.
I walked away, not knowing what to do or where to go. At the bonfire, it was possible, but the activities were postponed because of the sudden attack by the student earlier. They were afraid it might happen again; they also apologized for being negligent.
Well, if you ask me, they weren't really careless. Maybe the student was just stubborn, or there was something wrong with them that made them do it again. As mentioned, that student wasn't really the type to act that way. It could be something else too. Like, they were possessed or something. Since, if I remember correctly, Kaliya mentioned something about this when we were eating last week.
I sighed. Why am I even thinking about this? It's just an additional thing to worry about.I tried to push away my thoughts about what happened earlier and walked towards the garden, even though it was already late at night, maybe around eleven or something.
