Someone

"ARTH!"

"Stop calling me that,"

"Arth~" Owen insisted.

Argh, what purpose lies in correcting him when he persists in his predetermined course? Moreover, the early morning hours weigh heavily upon me, yet he stands prepared to vex my tranquility.

Why can't he just leave me alone?

Dang. This is the reason why I wanted to be alone during the welcoming ceremony of every event here in our school. He's too damn talkative which is just fucking annoying.

I rolled my eyes out of annoyance and turned to face him. "What do you want?"

"Sungit naman nito, hindi ba maganda gising mo?" he stopped walking when he was in front of me. I'm slightly taller than him so he has to look up.

I raised an eyebrow. Why does he have to know? I'm pretty sure that's none of his damn business. But, I'm pretty sure he won't leave me alone if hindi ko sinagot ang tanong niya. I hate this shit.

"There's no good in the morning, to begin with. And do me a favor, kindly shut the fuck up and stay away from me, I'm tired from all those damn activities last week." I snob, prepared to deliver a punch to his face should he fail to cease his chatter.

"Ay, pagod ka?"

Goodness gracious, grant me the patience not to murder this imbecile right here and right now.

I'm pretty sure I just muttered the words 'I'm tired' to him, which part of those two words did he not understand?

Well, that's not an excuse. I am seriously exhausted from all that chemistry and physics event last week at Hudson High. They sure are active and planned A LOT of hard activities. Not to mention, the fact that they have to drop me off at Del Xuel High just to deliver a fucking invitation.

The event ended yesterday and yes, I just got home yesterday. I'm supposed to be resting right now in my room yet here I am, standing in front of our school's entrance door welcoming our visitors from different schools.

This school is so annoying. Why am I even studying here again?

"Hello! This is Agnor High, may I know your school's name?" Jasper who appeared out of nowhere asked the two boy students standing outside the gate.

This made me snap out of my thoughts and to focus. Right, I have to welcome the students. Man, what a drag. Kailan ba ako makakatakas sa kalbaryong 'to?

"Cydea High,"

As someone who's holding the list, I have to check if their school name is invited.  I skimmed my index finger through the pages, trying to find their school's name.

It didn't take me long before I found it on the second page. I soon give Zyrel, another friend of mine who's also in charge of welcoming the students an approving nod, confirming that the school the two newcomers mentioned were invited. Chineck ko na rin ang school name nila using a red pen indicating that they're present.

"Welcome to Agnor High School, Cydea SSG President Frederick Steven, and Cydea SSG Vice President Lucas Levaughn Morningstar." Zyrel welcomed them genuinely with a bright smile.

I scoffed at that. What's so fun greeting strangers? I don't get him sometimes, it's not like you'll click just because of a simple smile, that's not how friendship works. I don't even remember how he became my friend, basta ang naalala ko ay bigla nalang siyang sumulpot at hindi na ako tinantanan. Gano'n din sila Jasper at Owen.
