Muktha’s POV
 
   We got back to our room and started waiting for Lucas. The room was silent until the door slowly opened and he entered. He pulled one of the chairs and sat in front of us. “I know there’s a lot running in your minds right now. So first tell me what you know and then I can clarify all of your doubts” he said and we agreed. I explained about Raveena’s locket, Kanchana’s visions and the conversation between Mask and the Kings. “Your life is in danger. They are planning to throw you in dungeons” Kanchana warned him. “Well I didn’t expect it this early though” he said without worrying for his life. “What did they mean by you're one of them?” Chaitra asked. “We mainly came here to save you guys from danger and 'we' refers to your tutors including me and Raveena” he said. “What kind of danger? From whom?” I asked and before he could answer someone started banging the door. Kanchana opened the door and few guards barged in and surrounded Lucas. “What’s happening here?” Kanchana asked. “Mr Mask has ordered us to put him in the dungeons” one of the guards spoke without making an eye contact. “No, stop. He didn’t do anything” Chaitra said. “Sorry ma'am. We have no other choice. We have to obey his orders” the guard replied and they dragged Lucas out of the room.
    We glanced at each other with confusion and fear. I wish we could help him in some or the other way, after all he came here to save us. After few seconds, Alisha entered and said “Ma’am, Mr Mask has told me to inform you that the marriage ceremony will be held tomorrow night” “What!?” we three yelled in surprise. “Why did he change it suddenly?” I asked. “I have no idea ma'am. I was just informed to convey this message” she said with a helpless look. We just sighed as we sat on our beds. This was a lot to take in. “Who'll give us the answers now?” Kanchana asked. “I’m sure Mask knows everything and so only he is making these changes” Chaitra said. “Yeh, and there’s no use in asking him. He’ll make some excuses telling that he'll answer our questions tomorrow” I said and they nodded.
    Few guards were standing outside our room to make sure we didn’t go out. We were imprisoned until our marriage ceremony. This isn’t fair. “Guys, I lost my ring!” Chaitra exclaimed by searching around. “You can get another one” Kanchana said. “But that was my favourite!” she replied by glancing around everywhere. We didn’t find it anywhere. “I so wish we could just pass through these walls and reach him” Chaitra said. “Yeh, that ability would have been more helpful” I said with a sigh. She was frustrated, infact we all were. She banged the wall with anger and surprisingly her hand passed through the wall. What the hell? Me and Kanchana stood up in shock staring at her. She slowly passed her hand through the wall again and it worked. “Whoa! But how will we both come with you?” Kanchana asked. We held each other’s hands “Let’s give it a try” we sighed and entered the wall together. Whoa. We entered outside our room far away from the entrance where guards stood. We started rushing towards the dungeons while passing through few empty rooms and empty corridors.
   The guards who dragged him from our room were standing at the entrance of the dungeons. We passed through the walls entering few empty cells and finally inside the dungeons. The corridors were quite and very few guards were present. We found Lucas cell and entered it. It was quite dark since only few fire torches were present. He was lying down with many bruises, we felt bad for his condition. I called him and he woke up slowly with a surprised look. “How did you guys come inside?” he whispered. “I don’t know how but I could pass through the wall suddenly just by thinking” Chaitra said. “Wait, is it because you lost your ring?” I asked whatever popped into my head at that time. “How can that be related to the ring?” Kanchana asked with a confused look. “Do you both also have similar rings?” he asked and we both nodded. We both removed our rings and gave it to him. He checked them for few seconds and said “These rings are enchanted to control one's powers. They were mainly given to you so that you couldn’t identify few of your powers” he threw the rings away. We three were speechless. Why don’t they want us to know our powers? What do they exactly want from us?  “It isn’t safe here to discuss everything. You guys go to Regina and inform about all of this. She'll tell you what to do. And also inform her that Mask has taken my conduit” he said and we agreed. We came outside the dungeons through the wall and rushed towards the library, because that’s where she spends most of the time.
   We entered the silent room. She was sitting near her table studying few papers and books alone. “How can I help you ladies?” she asked as she stood up. We told her about whatever happened from morning. “Oh god! The only way to save him is getting his conduit back” she said with a serious look. “What does it look like?” Kanchana asked. “An emerald ring which has his powers. Mask would have hidden it somewhere after arresting him” she said. “What if he has hidden it in that secret room in the store room?” I asked and they nodded. “Be careful girls!” she cautioned us. We nodded and headed towards the fifth floor.
    We entered the store room and went through the secret door with the emerald locket. There was nothing much in the room expect an old cupboard, a glass vase and the table with papers. We started searching in the cupboard filled with dust. “There’s nothing here except dust” Kanchana said. As we thought of returning back Kanchana tripped and pushed the vase by mistake. The glass vase broke into pieces and we found something shining among the pieces. The Ring! I took it and glanced at them with relief. “We got it! Time to meet Lucas now” Chaitra exclaimed and we nodded. We headed towards the dungeons.
    We entered the entrance through the wall and started walking normally in the corridors without drawing much attention from the guards. Before we could reach Lucas cell Mask encountered us, blocking our path. Shit! “Where are you heading ladies? I guess you have better jobs to do for tomorrow rather than roaming in the dungeons” he smirked. “Why did you arrest Lucas suddenly?” Chaitra asked him. “And why did you prepone the wedding to tomorrow?” I asked him by crossing my arms while tightly gripping the ring. “It’s not the right time to answer your questions. Let’s discuss it tomorrow” he said by changing his expression from calm to slightly angry mood. We stayed still being speechless. I just want to give this ring to Lucas at any cost. As I was trying to think about some excuse to meet Lucas while gripping the ring tighter, it disappeared. First I thought it would have slipped from my hand, but I didn’t hear any sound. I just hope it has reached him.
   “Ok then, we'll head back to our room” I agreed and both of them stared at me with a confused look. “Good for you and I guess it’ll be good if one of the guards accompanied you till your room” he said with a placid expression and walked towards Lucas cell. One of the guard came along with us, to make sure we don’t meet anyone and just reach our room. We entered and locked the door. “What do we do now?” Kanchana asked. “What about his ring?” Chaitra asked. “Ok, I don't know how, but it just disappeared from my hand and I feel like it has reached him. Because when I was thinking about giving it to him somehow, it vanished. We can just be positive about it right now” I said and they both nodded. We sighed as we lay down on our beds, thinking what would happen next.
