After many more vodka cokes, shots and bombs I am confident to say we are well and truly drunk.
"Come on let's dance!" Mills slurs as she pulls away from her man, Oliver, to grab my arm.
I turn from Theo, the beautiful hunk of a man standing over me, to hobble with Milly towards the dance floor.
When I look back over to the two men, they've taken our seats and are eyeing us up like their next meal.
I run my hands down my skin-tight dress as I let my body move to the beat of the music. My feet are hurting in these heels, but the alcohol definitely numbs the senses, so I'm not too bothered anymore.
I pull Milly towards me and grab her neck. "Cute guys hey, we got lucky," I smile.
She pulls back and I see the fire in her eyes when she nods. Yep, she's as drunk as I am right now.
The more I dance, the more I feel the urge to pee myself. I lean into Mills again and shout, "I need to go pop the cherry."
Her face drops, she glances over to the two men before grabbing me by the arms, to which I have to focus my eyes from the sudden movement. "I don't think that's a good idea," she replies shaking her head.
I frown and pull her back to me, "I need a wee!".
The vibrations of her laugh bounce off me and I have to physically hold her up as she doubles over laughing. "What the hell? Why is that so funny?" I shout down to her.
She straightens up and leans forward to me. "What you meant to say was, 'I need to go break the seal' not 'I need to pop the cherry,'" the last part of that statements comes out airy as Milly struggles to breathe through her laughter.
"What?" I ask, confusion physically causing me a headache. Or is that the alcohol?
"Popping the cherry means, doing the deed, you know, no longer Virgin Mary," she raises her eyebrows.
Mine indistinctively rise as well and my mouth forms an O shape.
"OH MY GOD!" I shout before we both start belly laughing in the middle of the dance floor, swaying side to side, while holding onto each other for support.
I cross my leg over, now needing a wee more than ever.
I pull Mills in the direction of the bathrooms and smile at our male company, giving them a quick wave.
We enter the bathrooms and I'm glad to be sitting on the toilet at Milly recites my unfortunate misunderstanding of sayings, causing us both to fill the bathroom with laughter again.
Once we finish up, take a few mirror selfies, and apply some more lip gloss, we make our way out.
Milly steps out of the bathroom first, just as a group of girls enter through the door, causing me to be acting doorman until the walking barbies enter. I mutter a silent 'you're welcome,' mocking their lack of manners and exit the bathrooms.
