When I opened my eyes I was met with the same eery building that I was sent to 12 years ago. I clutched onto my duffel bag tightly and slowly made my way to the doors.
I opened the door which sent the tune of a bell echoing throughout the Diner making my presence known. I stepped into the main area and was taking in the sight of the long tables with chairs stacked on top of them and birthday hats perfectly placed on the center of each table, when a husky British voice echoed out from one of the back rooms, "We're closed, get out of here."
I ignored Williams demands and made my way to the safe room, and that's when I saw him. His tall and skinny frame stood hunched over the corpses of five children. I contorted my face in disgust and betrayal.
I opened the door very carefully and quietly and that's when I saw him holding 5 vials of Remnant. He stood up straight and made his way to one of the animatronic suits that was hung up on the wall, and just as he was about to place the poor child's soul into the suit I made my move. I ran up to him and hit him hard from behind causing him to drop the vials. The vials shattered upon making contact with the bloodied concrete flooring of the safe room.
He yelled out angrily, "Look what you did! You fucking ruined everything!" He bent down trying to scoop up the remnant that was scattered across the concrete. As he desperately tried picking the remnant up soft cries were heard coming from him. I stood myself up and took a defensive stance, and just as I took my stance William stood up to his full height and slowly turned to look down at me. "You ruined everything, now I can't see her! I'm going to fucking kill you!" He yelled out angrily while pulling a bloodied knife from his pocket.
That's when I noticed his eyes. They were glowing a deep purple color. 'He's in the middle of an episode.', I thought to myself.
I looked up into his eyes with a loving smile then dropped my defensive stance and rose my arms out to either side of me. He yelled out furiously and then lunged towards me holding the knife out in front of him. He drove the large blade into my stomach.
I coughed out blood, but despite the overwhelming pain that coursed through me I wrapped my arms around him engulfing him into a tender and loving embrace.
