Chapter 10: You're Worth Waiting For

"Hanagaki Takemichi is alive....but he's in a coma we don't really know for how long"

They felt like a heavy weight on them was gone when they heard the news they cried in happiness and relief to know that their friend was still alive but then realization hits them "I'm sorry could you repeat what you just said?" Mitsuya said 

"He's in a coma..." 

Silence once again fell over them "I will leave you all be" 

"You guys go on ahead I'll go get some fresh air" Izana said as he starts walking away. Chifuyu, Mitsuya and Hakkai went inside first seeing Takemichi like this they couldn't control the tears running down their eyes 

——Meanwhile with Izana—

Izana took out a cigarette, he lights it and started smoking. He leans his back on the wall slowly sliding down to the ground "you worried the living shit outta me Hanagaki.....I'll wait for you no matter how long it takes...." Slowly he started crying he tried to wipe the tears but they just kept on rolling down he didn't want anyone to see him so vulnerable. But what he didn't know that someone was watching it was Ouroboros' number 2: Kuzunoha Hayato now you might be wondering why he followed Izana well that's because it was Takemichi's orders 

While Rei was driving the truck to the hospital Takemichi said "keep an eye out for Izana for me....please....*cough* don't let him do something stupid...." 

"Alright my Queen.....please hang on.....we can't lose you...." 

Hayato went back inside and saw that the others starting to leave already he rushed back outside "Kurokawa-san....get up they might see you...." Is what he said when Izana asked him what he was doing out here. Izana nodded and wiped his tears before entering the hospital once again

After everyone left Izana went inside the room pulled a chair and puts it next to Takemichi's bed. He laid his head on the bed, his hand holding Takemichi's ".....thank God your still alive Takemichi....you got us all worried and shit you know?" Izana chuckled bitterly "you better wake up soon Takemichi.....I'll wait for you....no matter how long it takes..."

Day 2 

Izana visited again this time with a flower vase on hand "hey there Michi....." he puts the vase on the desk seeing the other gifts on the other couch that was in the room meaning that the others gotten here before him "I hope you didn't mind.....I disbanded ouroboros....there no reason not to is there Michi......you know I'm glad I get to meet you.....though sometimes I wonder what made you I'm a good person? Even though I know that I'm not?....."

Day 3 

"Hello again Michi! Oh? Would you look at that they're kind enough to put a much more comfortable chair for me...I brought bento...I wanted to eat beside you..." Izana opens his bento and started eating in silence "....I don't have any news for you today so I'm just gonna hang out here in silence if you don't mind...."

Day 4 

".....did you command Rei to keep an eye on me? You did, didn't you Michi....of course you did if you didn't he wouldn't come at my door and bring me food and meds all the time.....they really miss you, you have great friends..."

Week 2 

"Michi I hope your proud.....they're starting to follow their dreams and shit...that Mitsuya guy he's designing some clothes, saw it and it was eye catching. Also heard that Chifuyu Matsuno's planning to have a pet shop of some sort"

Month 1 

"You know. I visited Kakucho.....earlier told him the news.....sorry I didn't inform him earlier....I don't think I'll be able to keep a straight face when I tell him....he told me that he'll make it up to you when he gets out of jail..." Izana stays quiet for a while "we found the guy that shot you....I punched him a couple of times his face was barely recognizable.....turns out the guy that shot you was the one  that killed Draken.....I didn't kill him because I knew you wouldn't want that.....though I was close to killing him but I didn't kill him"

Month 2

"So....when are you going to wake up? I miss you.....every fucking day.....but like I said I'll wait for you no matter how long it takes..."

Month 3 

Izana didn't utter a word but today was extremely exhausting so he sat down at his usual sit, laying his head on the bed and holding Takemichi's hand 

Few minutes later Takemichi's eyes starts to open when he did he was blinded by the light causing him to blink few more times "where am I......" he mutters then realization hits he remembered he was hit in a middle of a war with Kanto Manji Gang fighting Mikey to bring him back as promised. They he felt his hand was being held he glances at the person sleeping holding his hand "Izana....." he takes his hand away from Izana's and place it on the other's head going through his soft hair the other started to wake up "what-....Takemichi" those lilac eyes Takemichi adores them, Takemichi certainly misses them. Takemichi then slides his hand on Izana's cheeks while the other was still processing what is happening Takemichi chuckled at Izana's shocked expression 

"I'm not dreaming am I?" Izana stared at the other "I didn't expect you to wait for me to wake up..." the blonde chuckled 

"You're worth waiting for...." 

"Thank you....for waiting.....sorry to keep you waiting this long....wait how long was I out?" Takemichi sheepishly asked 

"3 months" Takemichi looked at him in disbelief "Three Month!?" Izana nods 

"Holy shit- Hayato is he alright? Senju? Inui-kun?" Izana took Takemichi's hands to calm him down "they're fine Michi.....let me just stay here for awhile..." Izana lays down on Takemichi's lap "okay...." Takemichi starts combing Izana's hair with his hands "your hair so soft..." the blond mutters

This doesn't end here those two haven't confessed yet!!

Izana: if Takemichi dies I will kill/torture the murderer then kill myself the most beautiful way possible just to see Takemichi again

Takemichi: please don't do that.....
