Chapter Seven

As he held the gadget Agent M gave him, he turned around and yelled out
"Actually, on second thought, maybe we could use some backup"

You could barely see M's grin but you knew she was happy about joining them

Agent M collected herself before turning back to face Agent X and Agent H

They gave Agent M two thumbs up, and accidentally letting out a small chuckle at the cute partners

Agent M returned the gesture with a smile

As M walked away, H turned to you and asked

"Ready for some action, partner?"

"Always"

With that being said, Agent X followed M, who is basically skipping around the building

"I'm starting to think that working with the both of you will be the death of me" Agent M exaggerated

"Hey! We're not that bad"

"Yes, but the awkwardness in the air is."

Driving along the streets, using a black car, we parked at the corner of the road.

With a smooth break from H, We all opened the door and slid out the car

"I was thinking, for the OP, I can take the perimeter, you and X approach to Vungus"
You nodded at M's plan

"We should do that" you agreed

" Yes, good" agreed, H

"Good" M and you chirped as the three of you walk through an alley and seeing a car just ahead

" The thing is, with this particular club, everyone just want to do their own thing. Aliens wanna look like humans. Humans wanna look like aliens, so we may need to loosen up abit" H explained

"So should we look like aliens..?" You sarcastically asked

"What?" Agent M and Agent H looked at you

H shook his head
"No. I'm saying is, we need to loosen up our ties first, yeah?"
He suggested while starting to remove his tie. Agent M also followed but not as over as Agent H with his buttons all the way to his entire chest

"Pop a couple of buttons and not look so stiff"  you popped two buttons of your shirt as you put your tie inside your pocket

"We don't want to advertise our profession, if you know what I mean"

"I understand it completely" you spoke up as you stood infront of H and beside M

H looked at your face and down to your exposed collar bones, he visibly gulped and immediately talked again

" Men in Black. Aliens, get down! " He immitated guns shooting

"We get it" M said and you nodded

"Don't do that" he suggested, meaning the shooting

"Yeah? Good, great. You look perfect, by the way" and pointed to you when he blurted out a compliment

"Thanks" you genuinely smiled at him

"Okay! No time for flirting" Agent M stated, cutting the gaze the two shared

"How about me? How do I look?" He spread his arms like how a magician would show their trick

M and X shared a laugh at how pathetic he looks

Let's just say, even with that look, X managed to think he looks hot.

"You look like you just got laid, H" you laughed out as you neared him

He didn't miss the moment he got butterflies when you said his name

You closed two buttons on his shirt,
while shaking your head side to side.

"It's a fine line between club casual and a sexy man stripper" you rested your hands on his chest and looked up to his eyes

It was one of the peaceful moments  you rarely had with each other years ago

"Ehem, I don't mean to ruin the moment but, we're kinda working" Agent M watched as the two moved away from each others touch. Although she knew they didn't want to

You and H looks peaceful, holding each other in silence and just gazing at each others loving eyes

"Thank you" H coughed out as X fixed her hair and using it to cover her burning cheeks, which H finds cute

"Let's go" you said and walking to the car to open the door for M

"I thought we were already here" she questioned you

"Nearly" you sat next to her when she scooted to the end of the seat

"Entrance for special guests" H stated as he took his seat beside you. The three of you were cramped on the back seat. You had your leg on top of H's thigh. He looked like he didn't mind

"Good Evening, Freddie" you greeted the old man

"Same as you, mi'ladies" Agent M just nodded

"Step on it, Freddie" H commanded the the 'driver'

"Might wanna start searching where to hold on, M" you whispered in her ear, you watched as she looked at you wide eyed

"You got it, H" Freddie held the steering wheel with two hands and started pressing the accelerator

Then the seat started falling. H knew you were used to these contraptions but he held a protective arms infront of you, out of instinct

"Yeah. Okay. Wasn't expecting that" stated Agent M as the seat came to a halt

"Get used to it, M" you said

H didn't take his arm off of you, so instead of the front, he rested his arm on your lower back as he gently pushed you through the crowd

After all of this, he would apologize and kneel, beg or even lay face planted on the floor and would do everything for your forgiveness. You had always meant a lot to him
