(Why is this a serious story now
idk why dont you answer)
Soon, it's finally Monday. I get to school, and immediately Britain and America hold me in a tight hug.
"We were so worried about you! Are you ok? Who'd you stay with?" America exclaimed, squeezing the air out of me.
"I'm ok! I stayed with Mexico," I say, hugging my brother back tighter. Britain shakily pulled a small sheet of paper out of his pocket and handed it to me.
"Aussie and Kiwi wanted to give this to you.... they were really sad to see you go," Britain said, a somber look on his face.
I can't help but tear up a bit.
"Tell them I miss them too... Dad didn't want you guys looking for me, huh?" I ask. Britain nodded.
"I was really worried for you... none of us could really sleep at all over the weekend," Britain said. I nod, and give Britain another hug. Mexico has been standing beside us awkwardly this entire time.
"Your dad doesn't know Nadas with me right?" Mexico asked.
"He doesn't know where Canada is at all... didn't seem to care either," Britain said. Mexico nodded.
"I'll pick Australia and New Zealand up from school. You can tell him I'm tutoring them or something. Then Canada can hang out with them for a bit, and afterwards I'll walk them home," Mexico said.
"Really?" Britain asked, surprised. Mexico nodded, and Britain looked down in thought. "...ok, just make sure they know not to tell dad," Britain said. With that, we go to our classes.
Later on at lunch, Mexico sits with us again, doodling on my sketchbook and occasionally throwing in a comment that's typically laughed off.
"Anyway, I'm pretty good at reading people," Nekomi bragged. Mexico chuckled, his head still down, staring at the picture he was drawing of a flower-demon. "What's so funny?" Nekomi asked.
"I doubt you're actually good at reading people. People are just simple, and very alike in a lot of ways, so it's easy to think that you know everything about everyone," Mexico said. Nekomi crossed her arms.
"Fine then, how about I tell you what I think of you?" Nekomi said. Mexico put down the sketchbook and crossed his arms.
"Let's see what you've got," Mexico said. Nekomi sized him up.
"You're shy, but still want to fit in. You have a loving personality though, just have trouble expressing it. You think other people are a lot more simple than they are anddddd I think you have a crush on Canada," Nekomi said. Mexico began genuinely laughing (a laugh i've learned to discern).
