(Yo, If You're thinking to yourself
'Why in heck's name did Parker post another chapter of this? I thought it ended?'
Uhhh...
I actually had this final chapter fully written and uh....
I kinda forgot to post it....
I know you're probably thinking 'that's BS, you probably just wrote another chapter of this out of boredom! Nobody is stupid enough to forget to post the finale of their book!'
But I...
I kinda am that stupid....
But hey, if you wanna believe I'm not stupid, I won't stop you.
Anyway, enjoy)
The next few months are the best I've had in years. It feels good to finally be free of my dad, I suppose. Mexico now talks with England every week, something he seems to be enjoying. Mexico told me that England is one of the first adults he feels trust towards; which is amazing, because England is my new favorite dad-uncle. On top of that, when England found out Mexico was living alone, he invited him to live with us. It's amazing to see Mexico finally have a chance to enjoy being young...
Suddenly, there a knock on my window... which is strange, because I'm on the second floor. I open my window to see Mexico waiting outside on a ladder. I laugh, knowing he was trying to replicate my favorite corny love stories.
"Mex, I don't want you to fall!" I exclaim. Mexico smiled at me.
"Your brother and his boyfriend are keeping the ladder steady," Mexico said. I smile.
"Well, what's this all about?" I ask. Mexico takes a small box out of his pocket.
"My prom-posal... I... I figured you'd say yes, so I just wanted to do something cute," Mexico said, opening the box to reveal a beautiful ring I'm sure he made himself. I take it and kiss him on the cheek.
"Thank you, this is perfect," I say. I help him climb into my room, and give a thumbs up to America and Peru down below.
A few weeks later, we host a pre-prom party at our house. We have snacks laid out that we pick at as we get ready. Britain helps us tie our ties, France helps some people put on makeup, Mexico was talking about his plot in rigging the prom king election so Britain wins, and me doing people's hair. England, being as insanely rich as he apparently is, rented two limos for us to go to prom in... Yeah, he is the greatest dad-uncle.
When we get to the country club the party was at, we all split up and explore. There's an outside area with a bunch of chairs to rest at; That was right next to a game room with ping-pong, Pool tables, and table football. There was a DJ in one huge room specifically for moshing, and a live band in another room for couple dancing (or elegant single dancing, as I was also seeing). Me and Mexico hung out at the snack table by the dance floor, when Mexico suddenly handed me the drink he was holding.
"I'm gonna head to the bathroom real quick... I'll be right back," Mexico said. I nodded, and watched the friends and lovers on the dance floor while I waited...
Suddenly, someone has their arm around me...
"Canada, I missed you," I hear Netherlands voice coo. I look up at him in surprise.
"Neth, I thought you moved! What are you doing here?" I ask.
"I did move, but a few friends invited me to come to prom while I was in town... how have you been?" Netherlands asks... I smile, but push away from his embrace.
"Neth... I've been ok...," I say. Neth doesn't seem to get the hint, because he lifts my chin to meet his gaze.
"Would you care for a dance?" Netherlands asks lovingly...
"Hey, Netherlands, right?" I hear Mexico say. My heart stops.
"Yes, that's me... who are you?" Neth asks.
"My name is Mexico... I'm Canadas boyfriend," Mexico said. Netherlands immediately backs up.
"Oh! I'm so sorry Nada!" Neth exclaims. I chuckle nervously, putting my arm around Mexico.
"N-no worries... I-I l-lost contact with y-you... u-um.... I moved on... b-but I'm glad to... s-see you again...," I stutter. I want to be friends with Neth, seeing as we had been super close... but I don't want Mexico committing a felony. Mexico must see that I'm nervous, because he takes my hand and gives me a comforting stare.
"Neth, America is at the table across the way... go say hi to him, and we'll catch up in a sec," Mexico said. Neth smiled and nodded, walking over to greet my brother, and Mexico gazes up at me.
"Mex, I swear I don't have any feelings for him-,"
"Nada, please... I love you.... I trust you... Neth made you happy, so why would I ever hurt him? I think it's great if you two become friends... because I know you love me... you wouldn't have put up with me for so long if you didn't," Mexico said. I smile. Not only because that was super wholesome, but because of how proud I am... this weirdo, stalker, absolute psycho... he finally is getting the help he deserves... he's finally not paranoid about losing everyone he loves...
We're finally happy...
(That's it, idk how else to end it lol)
