12 Guardians of the Eclipse

Chapter Five

By evening all was quiet until a scream was heard from Adriana's room.

She was on her phone when there was a bright purple hues glowing brightly all around her room.

"Ahhhhh!!!! What's happening?!"

There were sounds of running feet and 12 men looking flustered broke her bedroom door and saw the purple glow.

She look up at them overwhelmed. 

"What's going on? Why is it shining so brightly?"

"It is time" Daniel answered as he grabbed her by her waist

"Huh? Time? I don't understand"

"It is time to bring you back to Chamelli, Adriana. No. Your Highness, Princess Adriana, daughter to the late Queen Isabella"

"It's time to go home Princess"

"Home? What do mean home? This is my home!"

"We will explain it while we arrive"

"Uh sure. I like I'm going with you willingly I-" her words were cut off when Kenneth closed her eyes and that made her fall unconscious as Samuel carried her. 

They look at him and he just shrugged and soon they opened up the portal and soon disappeared into thin air.

Chamelli
5.45PM

The 12 arrived at Camelli and were greeted by the Duke and Duchess  of Worcestershire as well as the Ministers and servants of the late King Grant 

"We humbly greet you, Guardian of the Eclipse" the crowd greeted them. The 12 just smiled

They saw the unconscious person and eyes widen as there were whispers who she was.

"May I know who is this person oh Guardian of the Eclipse?" One of the minister asks

Daniel looked at the person who was the High Minister Rhubarb and answered.

"She is the Princess of Camelli; Her Majesty Princess Adriana Matthews, daughter to the late Queen Isabella. The next heir to the throne"

There were gasps and more whispered

"Is it really her?"

"She look so frail"

"How will she run our kingdom?!"

Those words made Adriana woke up and looked all around. Kenneth saw her finally awake and set her down.

She waved "Uh hello" she looked at the 12 who just gave her a smile.

There were whispers.

"She have no manners at all"

"So ugly"

"How could one be so frail to run the kingdom as our ruler. This kingdom is doomed"

Adriana felt hurt but she ignored it. She somewhat felt uncomfortable being the centre of attention and she gave a glance at Estelle who was standing just  beside her.

"It is alright Your Highness. What they just said you just ignore them. Come, let us bring you to the Castle Camelli"

She just nodded and soon followed the 12 along the short path and soon reached a grand castle. White in splendour and elegance. 

As they reached the Grand Entrance they were stopped by the Guards

Daniel felt angry and said in a cold tone

"Let Her Royal Highness Princess Adriana through!"

"We are sorry. We were given a command not to allow anyone to come in through these doors"
