Chapter Seven

Coronation Day

Everyone in the kingdom gathered as today was the coronation day.

Adriana is already dressed and ready but she was pacing once again full of anxiety.

Ana was adjusting her gown was trying to calm her down

"Your Highness please calm down"

"Oh God. I'm scared Ana. What if I make a mistake as a Queen! I will make a mockery of my late mom and dad! What do I do?!

At that moment there was a knock and Ana left her for a moment and opened the door to find all 12 of the Guardians at the door.

"May we have permission to see Her Highness, Ms. Ana?"

Ana just nodded and opened the door and Adriana saw them and had tears in her eyes. She ran towards Daniel and hugged him tight.

"Daniel! I can't do it. I'm going to be a bad Queen! Do you think it's too late to escape?"

Daniel looked at Ana and she explained

"She had been this way ever since she woke up this morning. I try to subdue but it gotten worst"

Daniel just smiled and said "Thank you for your help Ana. You make leave us, we would like a moment with Her Highness "

She nods and soon left the room. Estelle felt pain in his chest. He doesn't know why. Since last night he's been feeling rather odd.

Daniel rubbed her back and whispered

"It's alright to be afraid Adriana. We are here. If anything goes wrong we are here"

"Yes Adriana" all the rest said in unison. She looked at each one of them and smiled.

"Thank you, my dear Guardians" she said as she hugged them one by one. Each one complimented how beautiful she looked

"You looked absolutely beautiful"

"Like those models we watch on TV"

"Prettier than any of us"

"Very beautiful.  I'm sure the person who will be your husband will be very lucky to have a beautiful wife"

That made her blush

"Who knew you'd look amazing in a dress"

"Yes. You should wear it more often from now on"

The all nodded in agreement and at that moment the sound of trumpets were heard and it was time.

The 12 escorted her to the balcony where the ceremony will be held.

The Priest was standing as the ministers all gather around. The crowd below watch with full anticipation.

"Do you Princess Adriana Matthews vow to fulfill your duties as to protect the kingdom as to be a fair ruler to all of Chamelli?"

"I do!"

That simple word echoed throughout the land as they witness the coronation

"I now crown you Queen Adriana Matthews, Queen of Chamelli. Thou Shall She Reign"

"Thou Shall She Reign!" The echoes were loud and clear as a heavy crown was placed onto her head as they bowed to her.

She looked down as they bowed down to her. She held back to tears and smiled.

At that moment the ring that she wore on her ring finger glowed red. Her eyes widen as she heard an awful screech and someone screamed

"We are under attack!!!"
