12 Guardians of the Eclipse

Chapter Twelve

The days following after the Royal wedding, everything goes back to normal.

There were a few issues here and there but there seem to be nothing that can't be solved.

Adriana's pregnancy was progressing smoothly. Despite the odd food combination and mood changes due to hormones Adriana comfortable content.

But it wasn't before news of her marriage and pregnancy reach kingdom that wants something that belong to the kingdom.

It was a great day and Adriana was already in her ninth month and was due any day now.

Everyone in the kingdom was anticipating for the birth of the new heir to the throne.

Adriana was having some snacks that consists of kimchi on top of everything, fruits included.

"Mmm this is delicious" she would compliment the food but to others it was odd.

"Honey, let's go and rest okay. You can eat later"

She pouts

"You think I'm fat don't you Daniel Garreth Jones?!"

Daniel now became scared whenever she uses his full name.

"No honey. That's not what I meant"

She rolled her eyes at him, now annoyed

"You haven't had your nap"

She look into those eyes and she saw fear.

"Really? Or you just can't stand the sight of me! Isn't it?"

Her voice now gets louder

"No honey. Please don't misunderstand"

Adriana saw him now looking scared

"'Then? What exactly do you mean? Mr. Leader? Tell me before...."

Before he knew what she was going to say she threw a book to his head

"Leave!"

But honey...."

"I SAID LEAVE!" Her eyes now bright red as well as the ring. He gulped and soon ran put the door, scared.

He decided to occupy himself by going sparring. When they saw him they asks "Got kicked out again?"

He just nods and started warming up.

"I don't know what to do"

A hand was placed on his shoulder and he turn to face Estelle who was giving him a sympathetic look.

"Be patient. It is her hormones. It will get better. Stay strong okay"

Daniel just nods and said "Thanks"

He and Kenneth started sparring as they started having a conversation.

"The good news is at least it's not a furniture this time. I still have the scar from when she threw the chair during breakfast. She's brutal"

He was glad it was just a book. Kenneth got thrown a chair during their usual breakfast one day because he accidentally use the word fat because he was complaining about himself about needed to lose weight.

She was screaming like a siren and threw the chair at Kenneth and the said man had a to get stitches on his shoulder.

After being at the training ground dor about 4 hours, he decided to go back to their chamber.

He freshen up and saw her sleeping soundly. He went forth and place a peck on her cheek and whispered "Sweet dreams my beautiful wife"

She moved slightly and he saw a smile. He laid next to her and soon he fell asleep.

At another kingdom:

"Your Highness what is your order?"

"Attack Chameli, slaughter every single being there. And then " the person had a evil glint in their eyes.

"We take the Queen as captive. Torture her to death and feed her body with that abomination she has in her body and take the Eclipse. We will strike at midnight at the next full moon"

"YOUR WISH IS OUR COMMMAND YOUR HIGHNESS!"

The person was laughing like a maniac.

'Let's see who will be more powerful now!"

Back at the castle Chameli:

There was a loud scream. Adriana water just broke the night before waking up feeling an intense pain all over. She woke Daniel up and it cause panic.

They called the midwife and she came right on time as Adriana was about to throw Daniel out the door.

The midwife advice him to wait outside while she and a few servants would be present

He didn't protest left the room, not before kissing her forehead

"Stay strong honey. I love you" he said and soon left the room

Adriana was was already screaming. The midwife check on her every now and then until what felt like house she announced

"Now push Your Highness"

Adriana pushed all she might, feeling like she lost her breath. She stopped for awhile and continue pushing until

"Waaaahhhhhh waaaaaahhhh"

"Congratulations Your Highness you have a beautiful baby girl. A princess" the midwife said with a smile. Adriana was relieved.

One of the servant cleaned up the baby and placed the baby on Adriana's chest.

The baby was already cleaned up and was crying and Adriana couldn't help but coo

"Awww my baby girl" Adriana said kissing the baby. She placed the baby to her breast and she started suckling.

At that moment Daniel came in and saw the sight before him and he couldn't help but shed some tears.

He went towards them and saw how beautiful both his wife and daughter looked.

"She is beautiful honey, just like you"

Adriana started to cry and he wiped it for her.

"Don't cry honey"

"These are happy tears"

He smiled as so did she. The baby started fussing soon after and soon she fell asleep.

"What should we name her?"

"I like Alana" Adriana suggested

"That's a great name"

"A beautiful name"

"Hi. Nice to meet you Alana Jones"

He kisses the little baby girl's head and then kisses Adriana's lips.

"I love you my family"

"We love you too"

The know kingdom celebrated the birth of the new heir: Princess Alana Jones.

There were celebration for everyone as the whole kingdom were invited to Castle Chameli to celebrate the birth of the new heir.

It was a great time for the kingdom as the new addition was just been born but unknown to them danger was getting near ready to come and attack the kingdom and kill everyone, including the monarch.
