Taking a deep breath in Abilene exhaled slowly as she laid on her back staring at the ceiling above her.  She had no idea where she was or what was happening with Caleb or Reid.

The last thing she remembered before waking up in this room was Aaron knocking Reid out.  Which confused her as she knew Reid could take a punch so the fact that he'd been unconscious told her that Chase had helped Aaron with that punch.

She had no idea if Reid was okay or not.

Knowing what she did of Chase though she figured if he'd done something to him, he would've taunted her about it before leaving her here.

Lifting her hands, she studied the chains.

Chase had spelled them himself.

He was strong, she knew, especially since his father had willed him his power, but they'd been able to punch holes through his magic around Pogue.  She'd also hurt him by herself when he'd possessed Dakota.

She could get through his magic if she tried.

Closing her eyes, she concentrated on her breathing as she found the dark magic surrounding her, "I call to the Guardians of the East.  The power of Air, both restless and sweet.  I call to the Guardians of the North.  The power of Earth, generous and deep.  I call to the Guardians of the South.  The power of Fire, her heat and light.  I call to the Guardians of the West.  The power of Water, within her great heart that life came to be.  I am yours and you are me."

Feeling the chains warming on her wrists, she opened her eyes and lifted her hands as the chains glowed, "Guardians bring your light free and clear.  Break these chains of dark intent," she continued, repeating the chant, smiling in satisfaction as the chains on her wrists melted away.

She knew she was stronger than him.

Rising from the bed she approached the door cautiously before reaching out and finding it locked.  Closing her eyes, she held her hand to the lock and sighed in relief when she heard the faint click of the lock disengaging.

Taking a deep breath, she slowly pulled the door open.

Flipping her hand palm up she called for a flame to see through the darkness.  Squinting through the dark she saw she was in another room and the far wall held a set of steps.  Using the flame she'd conjured she moved quickly to the steps.

Reaching the top, she swore finding another locked door.

"I swear I'm gonna kick this kid's ass," she muttered, listening for the lock to turn.

Pulling the door open she found herself in the kitchen of an old run-down house.  'Putnam house,' she realized.  Despite she and Reid using Putnam Barn for their trysts they very rarely came into the house that sat across the field from the barn.

Glancing out the nearest window she saw it was night, "How long was I in that damn basement?" she questioned, moving to the backdoor of the house.  Reaching for the doorknob she screamed as pain shot through her hand and up her arm.

Shaking out her hand, she glared at the door, as the mirage of Chase's face reflected back at her, "Now, you didn't think it would be that easy, did you?" he taunted.
